"When you forgive someone you're not letting them get away with anything you're letting yourself get away from everything. And when you choose vengeance what you're doing is you're taking a conflict that someone has with God and you're putting yourself in the middle, stay out of it, let God deal with them." - Pastor Mark Driscoll
    Amen!

yall christians make no sense, love is a bunch of self sacraficial bullshit love is the ability to love someone else more than loving yourself instead of being full of love you should be full of egoism of self love after all your own happiness is infinitely times more valuable than someone else's happiness because you don't feel other people's happiness, but you do feel your own happiness.

Forgiveness is spiritual preservation. I practice it daily, along with remembering the dangers of toxic persons and cultish organizations.
As for revenge, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, per God.
Justice (some small amount), recompense, spiritual, legal and financial accountability for damages is by no means, not even remotely, revenge (nor will it make up for one year of the hellish harassment).
My so-called life is over, but God holds the future, which is all His.

I have given all that to the lord based on faith and living a spiritual and biblical life and believing that God sees all good and bad including evil. I listen to Holy Spirit say leave it be
let the lord handle it…. Weeks or months later he takes care of the evil … the person…. The situation…. I have experienced this many times in my life .
It’s called being obedient to his word.
Thank you for your devotion to the true word of God and biblical truth.

When my little brother killed himself it just destroyed my family. Me and him are the only ones who have been baptized in Jesus name. Now I have no one to turn to. It's caused so much chaos and when there was once peace in their house, now there's none but demons that rage.

I get you man. I had a similar experience with a good friend of mine. He leaned on me for so much and when I began to slip into darkness, he suffered the consequences of my failure. All I can say is I hope there’s mercy for them. The sin is grave, but their own pain was equally as grave and their ultimate crime was simply being too weak to hold on. Pray for them. You can’t do anything about it now, but we can try to pray for mercy to be shown to them and be more watchful over our brothers and sisters than we were before. Looking back on it now there were signs. I was simply too preoccupied with meaningless drivel to notice.
Just know that at the end of all things you have Christ and I have Christ. That’s all anyone needs to live well, a heart that’s a home to the Prince of Peace. It’s said that if we’re unlucky enough (or fortunate enough depending on perspective) to live in the end times that will be the determining factor as to whether or not you pass. Everyone and everything on this earth will not only abandon you, but turn on you. All save the Lord.

Pastor, I'm not seeking revenge. I'm warning them that my Father is. I can do nothing & actually probably have little time left due to failing heart health. I just want the Truth to be out & Vindication of lies they spread about my testimony & character.. Sad that body of Christ never seemed to care. Hurt me the most. I will never be well till heaven. Too much damage done but I followed Jesus with all my heart, soul, mind & spirit & did my best acting what I thought He called me to do if even if neither I nor anyone else understood. I would never ever hurt anyone except in telling them the truth to save their eternal soul. I spent best years of my life in medicine trying to help others. Facts. So you know. Tried to save an unwinnable situation. Sincerely, Gail

How can we say revenge is the Lords for our enemies, and then we go against our enemies and kill them, and then we say that wasn’t murder, Jesus says, love one another as I have loved you, he also said my kingdom is not of this world if it was then would my servants fight. John 18:36 Killing our enemies in a combat to me is murder. It’s not an accident.
    God Bless y’all

Vengeance belongs to God, but understanding forgiveness is part of this topic. Many people think forgiveness is just letting something go and ignoring it and not letting it affect you. Many people also realize that’s incredibly hard to do and it just keeps coming back up because they’re not actually forgiving it, you have to go back to the original translations to understand the words to forgive, doesn’t mean to just let it go. It means to give it to God and let him bring justice to your situation. It’s kind of like if somebody pointed again at you and took your wallet or your purse and you called the police you would be giving that situation up to the police and then the court system would convict them and arrest them and put them in jail And you would say OK the situation sucked. It’s over now just this is done. You’re not saying let the person go and just ignore it. You’re giving it to God and letting him figure out how to use the situation and administer justice to it instead of doing it yourself. That’s a good thing. Trust me if somebody wrongs you and you go out and kill them you may feel better temporarily but you’re going to put huge burdens on your life and change who you are for the worse, if you give it up to God you don’t have to deal with all of that And you pick back up and move on with your life but it’s not just forgetting about it and ignoring it. It’s giving it up to God so he can administer justice accordingly. So we are getting revenge in a way or just letting God deal with it appropriately instead of trying to do everything ourselves, but that doesn’t mean we’re just accepting the fact that somebody wrong us and ignoring it and letting them get away with it. That’s one of the reasons forgiveness is so hard for people because they think giving someone is something other than what it is. Just like when you have somebody arrested for committing a crime against you, you’re getting revenge or that justice you’re just fine with doing that through a cop and legal system and somebody steals your car and you call the police and they get arrested and you get your car back or get a new car and move on with your life you let it go because You turned that over to a justice system, God is our justice system in that sense and forgiveness is turning it over to him to administer justice, we’re all fine with doing it with your local police and sending someone to prison, but for some reason, turning it over to God it is a problem for a lot of people and that’s what forgiveness is is turning it over to God so he can deal with it and administer. Not forgiving someone is because of our own lack of faith and thinking we have to do everything ourselves and not trusting God for it and that’s something we all struggle with and deal with, but he’s told us what we are to do and like always if we follow what he tells us to do that’s the way it works best.

      @yougottrolled5799 10 месяцев назад

@@nicolaasjansevanrensburg7543 Revenge and justice are concepts that address wrongdoing but from different perspectives and with different motivations and outcomes.
Revenge is primarily about the victim (or those close to the victim) inflicting harm on the wrongdoer, motivated by a desire for retaliation. It's personal, emotional, and often seeks to make the wrongdoer experience the pain or loss they've caused. However, revenge can perpetuate cycles of violence, escalate conflict, and harm innocent parties. It lacks the impartiality and proportionality that are essential for fairness and social stability.
Justice, on the other hand, is about restoring balance and enforcing societal norms and laws through an impartial system. It aims to hold wrongdoers accountable, deter future offenses, and, ideally, rehabilitate offenders. Justice seeks not only to address the harm done but also to restore, as much as possible, the victim and community to their previous states. It operates within a framework designed to ensure fairness, with checks and balances to prevent abuse.

    King James Version
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth.
