Hi Celeste! Thank you for your flosstube. I love Lucy Calcutt and it's actually on my list of samplers to do. I started Remember Me yesterday for my birthday. I have to live up to 400 to complete the whole list of to do samplers. I love old movies too! I like Hitchcock's movie, because they are very stylish and gripping. I like western movie by John Ford High Noon, 3.10 to Yuma and all the ones with John Wayne. I also like The river of no retrurn with Marilyn Monroe and Robert Mitchum. I love Bing Crosby's movies and any one with Cary Grant (Charade). I love Doris Day movies... One that is very good is Come September, set in my country which is Italy. Gina Lollobrigida dances so perfectly with Rock Hudson! One of my favourite mistery movie is the Uninvited (1944). I also love Portrait of Jennie with Jennifer Jones and Joseph Cotten and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir... I can go on forever... Happy Stitching!

I'm cracking up here. We're supposed to vote for your sampler but you're head over heals in love with the first one. What to do? 😄 You know it's amazing how different the stitched pieces are from the charts. A couple of those charts wouldn't attract me at all but then I see your beautiful stitching and I am blown away and love them all. However I am going to go with dear Lucy Calcutt. The movie I'm going to name is not super super old but I absolutely love it and it's Fiddler on the Roof. And another one is To Kill a Mockingbird. Take good care.
