I love the DYI tools that require a lathe and a drill press. All together about 700 dls, the "cheapo" ones.

Some of these tools are great and worthwhile builds but I recommend looking for some of the simpler ones online or at your local hardware store. While you might not have the money or be willing to save up for some of the ones in the $100-$300 range, some of the simpler one can be purchased for 10 or 20 bucks and I wouldn't consider it worth spending the 2 to 5 hours it will take to make them. Even longer if you're not experienced.

Интересно, а пробовал кто-то приварить подшипник к подшипнику с помощью подшипника в тисках с двух сваренных между собой подшипников? Откуда такое желание приварить что-то к подшипнику??? Неужели так сложно при наличии токарного хоть и ТВ-шки сделать обойму под подшипник и к ей уже приварить все существующие рычаги в мире????

So many channels imitate each other even copy work. Some say imitation is its own flattery, but who is the imitator?. I knew one day we would see a metal lathe milling things, I can deal with progress but painting everything? Why hide the crust and rust, please leave us some of the humble origins. Also, please do not succumb to wasting time with endless demonstrations of the finished tool, one or two short demos is sufficient. One of the draws for me is the clever solutions to tools or machines I’d love to have but can’t afford. Watching how you resolve things is fascinating. Another draw is remembering my father doing similar constructs to resolve immediate needs with of course rusty, crusty materials!
I hope nothing was offensive , please stay ahead of the imitators!
