my mother and i just rescued two elderly cockatiels: fruitloop and pickles . they are on the road to recovery, as well as a happy new life here with us . i hope we can bring them back to their happy and cheery selves . all they’ve been doing is singing since they’ve gotten here . we are relieved that they are no longer in the state they were in before. they were never taken care of , and one actually has a tumor that was never treated . this video made me smile though ! i can’t wait to see what ours have in store for us :))
Feather Beautiful they’re doing great ! very vocal . they have this beautiful tune they sing every morning . we cannot handle them yet , and one has a tumor that may have to be removed by the vet as soon as we find one here around our new house . other than that, they are very healthy . their feathers are even growing back :)
I absolutely love cockatiels! Ours is a strange boy! When we throw kisses he does the exact same noise as we do and he has this internal time clock lol. Like at around 5-6am he starts yelling and can be heard from my room which is pretty far back and once again he does it at around 5-6pm when the sun is setting its like he's letting us know he woke up AND is going to bed, i absolutely love him.
There days ago my cockatiel flew away. This vid really made me cry. I remember that before adopting him I saw several vid related with cockatiel. And it's one of them. Just came back again.
My favorite is when Jewel runs back and forth in her cage. Someday I'll catch that on video! I wanted to ask you, Is it easier to have two cockatiels? Does it make them less clingy to you? I have one now, Jewel, and I wonder if she would spend more time away from me if she had a playmate.
I can relate to your food is theirs. My cockatiel would always perch on the fridge and watch my mom cook. One time he flew onto the pan because he wanted a tortilla and burned himself lmao. He learned after that. He really loves a variety though. If you have a plate or bowl he flys to you to check out whats inside. Hes eaten vanilla ice cream, chicken, rice, soup, rice krispies was his favorite.

???
Hotel: trivago
my mother and i just rescued two elderly cockatiels: fruitloop and pickles . they are on the road to recovery, as well as a happy new life here with us . i hope we can bring them back to their happy and cheery selves . all they’ve been doing is singing since they’ve gotten here . we are relieved that they are no longer in the state they were in before. they were never taken care of , and one actually has a tumor that was never treated . this video made me smile though ! i can’t wait to see what ours have in store for us :))
How are things going with your elderly cockatiels now? :)
Hope you still have them ? They are very endearing little creatures !
Mine did one more thing. He switched genders after to years he payed an egg and decided to be a girl
Lol! Thats what happened to one of my close friends here as well! :)
Aww thats kinda cute :)
Drink water from your Glass and falling into it
That can actualy kill them. I know people that had their birds die like that. Don't ever leave any glass and bird unattended.
What is the best for cockatiels to have couple male and female or just one?
start off with one and soon you can add a friend. If possible, stick to the same genders if you don't want them to lay eggs
Where did you get the carrier? That’s a great carrier
Parrot Funhouse :)
Hi to hand tame a bird what's the best age of a bird to buy during hand feed or a adult one

aw :)
Cutest ever !🙂🥰💗💓💝
Thank you! 😊
Cuteness overload😻😻😻
aw thanks
There days ago my cockatiel flew away. This vid really made me cry. I remember that before adopting him I saw several vid related with cockatiel. And it's one of them. Just came back again.
I know its really hard because my bird also flew away... its really hard to deal with...
My Flock I think you should get another one for company for the other cocktail 🥰
My Flock Cockatiel...
My bird died on valentine's day last year and this reminds me of her. Thank you,
Oh... I'm really sorry to hear that 😢
I can relate to your food is theirs.
