Age is an odd thing with Claire. She has been 35 for her entire life it seems. But she plays like a child and can be so carefree. A special girl, who loves others more than herself. Her beauty is not skin deep it goes all the way to her bones. Hope she always stays so sweet. Happy 7th Birthday.

I love how the things that get her extremely excited are so simple - as simple as getting donuts for breakfast and bringing home a library book. Claire is the child everyone wish they had!

I just want to say that our society is more than blessed to have a girl like Claire. It is unreal how generous, mature, kind, wise beyond her years, pure, and talented, this 7 year old girl is. Nowadays, it is just like a miracle to witness such acts of kindness from a 7 year old, due to the catastrophic horror that our society has turned into. I just hope and beg that people protect this precious jewel from the madness of our world. Claire deserves this and so much more. Of course, Claire can't be such an exemplary girl without the excellent guidance of her parent's. I know that Claire will accomplish marvelous thing's in the near future. When Claire said “I’m on Dorothy’s team” Carson stayed quiet and wanted to be on “daddy’s team.” But then she said “no this is team kids, you’re on our team.” I used to always be left out because some people used to say “only the pretty girls are on this team.”
To see Claire say “all kids team” made me so happy.
I remember the bday montage of Claire asking, “Dad, do you think I look a little bit bigger?” Like it was yesterday, not last year!

Glad to see Claire growing up, it is hard to let them spread their wings, yet it is important not to hold them back with our own fears. Seeing other kids their age swimming in the ocean free must have given both Claire and Carson the desire to do it also.

Your observations of Claire are absolutely what we have known about this young lady. Caring, loving, considerate of her siblings. Case in point, Carson hitting his head getting stitches; finding the heartbeat and finally the gender of baby June. Such a sweetie. A special gift from the Lord.

I love seeing my 2 favorite you tube families together! I was so thrilled when you met at Disney. And this visit to Hawaii has been extra special! Little Dorothy has made friends with girls all over the world since they sold their belongings and started traveling. She has always had to say good bye never expecting to ever see them again. I have seen her have emotional good byes with her new found girlfriends and while my heart has always swelled at the loving, caring, and brave little girl she is my heart also broke for her at the same time. So while you gave your little Claire an awesome gift to visit her best friend, Dorothy, in Hawaii you also gave a little girl in Hawaii the most wonderful gift she could ever dream of....A true forever friend that she can always trust she will see again even though she lives thousands of miles away. 🥰 Ashley, Dave, Garrett and Jess you are the most loving, caring and wonderful parents that there are❣️ Both of your families are so very Blessed.

Happy belated birthday Claire... you are such an amazing young girl, I have been watching you since I saw you singing "You've got a friend in me" with your dad on You Tube, and on Steve Harvey's show "Little Big Shots" when you sang the Little Mermaid song.... you have an amazing family, and your mom and dad are doing an AWESOME job as parents.... remember, children live what they learn, so they have been AWESOME TEACHERS! Some kids are not as fortunate to have parents like yours, that can be why kids can act really, really well, and some kids don't act well at all... they tend to act the way their family acts.... and we need to keep all of them in our prayers don't we? You are a terrific big sister to Carson and June.... , and I am certain when you are all grown up, you will be as close as you are now.... I am 57 years old, and my dad passed away last month, my mom passed away in 2013, I miss them dearly, but we have wonderful memories! What stole my heart was Dave talking about Claire at the end. From someone (me) with a father who has been emotionally & verbally my entire 54yrs (& his entire 82yrs of life to others, too) and abandoned us when I was 11, Dave's beautiful gushing about his love for Claire & his pride in her... that filled my heart to bursting & made my eyes well up with tears of joy for Claire & family. With Dave & Ashley as her parents, Claire should continue to grow up as a beautiful-hearted girl without too many hiccups along the way. I had so much fun as a child planning almost all my Birthday parties as well. It drove my Mom crazy because I would start planning them so early on. If you aren't already, you should make personal video diaries just for them in the future. When the inevitable trials of life hit and they feel lost, you can be there in video form to remind them of their purest beginnings and what you see in them and hope for them. Not that you won't literally be there for them, too, of course... but you get my point ;)
