Personally I think the American ones look better with the box. How-ever I really like the Chevrolet Ambulances they have in Sweden

kate breislin Amsterdam is the only city in The Netherlands where they still use the Chevy, everywhere else in The Netherlands they use the Mercedes Sprinter (sometimes the chevy, it is actually an old ambulance) Why? I don't know.

Rubber Duckie95 Probably because Diesel is much cheaper in Europe than in the US. Running a petrol V8 is expensive in Europe. Also, probably for readily available spare parts and service...

Is there any simple reason why they used American van is European country? Not mentioning that they are pretty :-) And one more thing - what is that super cutie microcar in the last clip? (3:08)

I don't know why the Chevy van was chosen a long time ago (they had ones already in the seventies). Now most of them have been replaced by Mercedes Sprinter models.
The small car is a Canta, a Dutch car for disabled people with special regulations: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canta_(vehicle)
