The only people who could actually enjoy this are drooling toddlers.

Wubbox asmr is based off of that one type of asmr that’s medically inaccurate and shows trypophobia without any warning. At some pinpoint, video game devs and games as a whole would fear even publish a game for the fear that elsagate will spot it and ruin it.

When it comes to popularity, especially through the means of getting popular through TikTok, *_there will always be a downside, and getting money farmed from Elsagate channels will always be top of the list of downsides of internet fame…_*
At that very day that my little sis showed me that MSM TikTok video that popularized the game that November, I immediately knew what’s going to happen, and I hate that this has been an ongoing pattern for nearly a decade, so much so to the point that I could expect it weeks, to even HOURS later…
I like the playerbase of MSM rising, but I can’t say the same to the types of content that follows, and it’s greatly upsetting me…if new players expect these sort of things, including those who hasn’t played MSM yet, and only watched the Elsagate content related to it, it might deter them from the actual game itself, believing that’s how it is, or from the game itself because of said content surrounding it.
I really hope for certain that the Elsagate content surrounding MSM won’t be its downfall in later parts of the year, but rather the opposite, and be the downfall of Elsagate content.
Even with the sounds of Wubbox ASMR’s videos alone, I still get disgusted and creeped out. Thank you for calling out these horrible channels.

one channel that makes stuff like that and is starting to affect msm is gametoons. they used to have pretty good content but after their first fail at a scary story they went down the elsagate path. they arnt really bad in a way a kid shouldnt be watching it, its just cringe.

There are amazing MSM content creators (like you), and then there are the people making really stupid MSM vids trying to get views.
There are some other channels I haven't watched, but I've seen in my recommended. The title is something like "ALL PIZZA TOWER CHARACTERS REACT TO MY SINGING MONSTERS!" and the thumbnail is a picture of a bunch of wubboxes (some recolored) with... (how do I say this?) 80085. smh.
MSM is popular and trendy with the kids, so it was inevitable. Still a shame to see this happen to a really good game, though.

It makes me really upset, this was my childhood. I kinda wished it didnt become popular
I came here from a completely different channel. This got recommended to me randomly.
But it's on thing that I've always noticed when it comes to RUclips.
One time, my friend and I went down a rabbit hole back when we were both really into Friday Night Funkin.
We ended up on the RUclips Kids side of things... Yeah you can imagine how that was... And some stuff we joked about, like me saying "If I ever complete my mod (which I never did), imagine my characters on these channels.", And making jokes about the fact that there was freaking Danganronpa RUclips kids stuff!! Danganronpa!!!!! Then again I shouldn't be surprised as Squid Game Had the RUclips kids treatment for a while. And the original show is definitely not for kids!
But then there was some stuff that I'm (kinda not) surprised got past RUclips's TOS. Specifically the gore and borderline p0rn.
Meanwhile most RUclipsrs if they even so much say a slightly bad word end up demonetized.
Also the ASMR thing... Euughh...

I first played My Singing Monsters was in Spooktackle 2021, And got a wubbox as of today, I'm so disappointed that the 2022 Elsagate got it.
but I still play it to this day. But I vividly remember the 2017 one, but as if today, I realized that Poppy Playtime, Garten of BanBan, Pizza Tower, etc. Need to BE REMOVED to prevent more cringe content.
