being a 60s baby, Kid Rock arrived kinda late on the scene for me - and to be honest I didn't realize the talent this guy had at that time. As other musicians have pushed me away Kid Rock has brought me in - with his no bs approach and in your face style with the talent to back it up. He really has changed so much. My eldest child is now 22 & loves the song with him & Sheryl Crow "Picture" and has listened to Cowboy & Bawitdaba. Saw him in concert in 98 and 2000 at what was called Starlake Ampitheater outside of Pittsburgh. Always loved him..think that last concert in 2000 was him and Uncle Kracker. ?? Unfortunately it's his farewell to retirement tour. This year is the last chance to see him 1 more time... get the best seats you can. If you leave the concert disappointed I will reimburse you
I seen him yrs back, never really listened to his music at the time.... l seen him at Allegan county fair in southwest Mi because we got free tickets... l was in a bad motorcycle accident in 07, I was 47 at the time.. I was put in a Induced Coma for aprox 2mo I had no recollection of what happened to me broke 23 bones all together... for what ever reason I remember where my mind brought me.... l was buried deep in snow ❄ 😳 I could here the machines above me trying to dig me out... l was suffocating there was no way out.. things in real life was what had happened to me 6 ribs were broken 3 of them cut holes in my rt lung, my renal artery was pulled off my rt kidney my liver was bruised and cut... l had blood transfusions because of it was being bleed out from the Artery & liver.. 4 drain tubes on ea side of my body... my Dad said he seen me flat line twice... my wife said no I never did.. A good wife she is she either didn't want to believe it or didn't want me to know... l have TBI because of the way my head was banged around & some is because of my being in coma for so long..... Why did I tell you all this.... because there is 1 life here on earth it doesn't last long at all.. One of the best things I did was go to the concert to see Kid Rock.. l would highly suggest you go see him I grew up in the 70's seen alot concerts as a teen all the Old School Rock & Roll I can say he was rt up on top with these bands his show for such a small Venue was just as good as he would have give to 50k he is a performer as best as they come... As other musicians have pushed me away Kid Rock has brought me in - with his no bs approach and in your face style with the talent to back it up. This song is a great example of the range this guy has- he is so much more than what people see at first glance
Me being a 80s baby Kid rock came up in my era, because of him I had my horizion in music expanded greatly. I would never tuned into greats like Hank, Merle, Waylon, Willie, Cash, David allan coe, Jerry Lee lewis, Springsteen and many more. I think this is the thick vocal and instrument Motown "wall of sound" of the 2000's that Kid has been looking for as his career progressed. He really has shown a wide range of genre and collabs over the years with so many people. He's someone who is the benchmark of not being stale and growing throughout his career in music. Saw him in concert in 98 and 2000 at what was called Starlake Ampitheater outside of Pittsburgh. Always loved him..think that last concert in 2000 was him and Uncle Kracker. ?? I've been a Kid follower sence he hit the airways. My hole family went to see him and I had to babysit, boy was I got to tie. I Finely got to see him in concert last fall. It only took almost 10 yrs from when my family went and left me with children lol. It was worth the wait. I love this man's voic, I hear him and a smile is on my face. You haven't seen him live?! I've seen at least 50 different live shows. Kid is the best hands down. This year will be the 29th time seeing him live. Unfortunately it's his farewell to retirement tour. This year is the last chance to see him 1 more time... get the best seats you can. If you leave the concert disappointed I will reimburse you
I seen him yrs back, never really listened to his music at the time.... l seen him at Allegan county fair in southwest Mi because we got free tickets... l was in a bad motorcycle accident in 07, I was 47 at the time.. I was put in a Induced Coma for aprox 2mo I had no recollection of what happened to me broke 23 bones all together... for what ever reason I remember where my mind brought me.... l was buried deep in snow ❄ 😳 I could here the machines above me trying to dig me out... l was suffocating there was no way out.. things in real life was what had happened to me 6 ribs were broken 3 of them cut holes in my rt lung, my renal artery was pulled off my rt kidney my liver was bruised and cut... l had blood transfusions because of it was being bleed out from the Artery & liver.. 4 drain tubes on ea side of my body... my Dad said he seen me flat line twice... my wife said no I never did.. A good wife she is she either didn't want to believe it or didn't want me to know... l have TBI because of the way my head was banged around & some is because of my being in coma for so long..... Why did I tell you all this.... because there is 1 life here on earth it doesn't last long at all.. One of the best things I did was go to the concert to see Kid Rock.. l would highly suggest you go see him I grew up in the 70's seen alot concerts as a teen all the Old School Rock & Roll I can say he was rt up on top with these bands his show for such a small Venue was just as good as he would have give to 50k he is a performer as best as they come... Do what ever you can to see him you'll remember it all ur life....
