@@bjmcduck The big difference, in my opinion, is the Morphagene is a deeper more complex unit. But as Robin showed in the demo, the Bender is easier to grasp and simply play.
@@MoltenMusicTech I found my way around it by feeding in very simple sources so I could hear what it was doing. But still learning this thing and I have not even started with the CV modulation inputs. I think it's going to be very interesting with time synced modulation.
If I didn't already own it, I'd be ordering one right now. Lovely demo.
It’s amazing how musical it can be.
Yes, I wasn't expecting that
Echoing everyone else, lovely demo. This is the first demo of DB that has actually made me want it. I think the key is to keep it subtle.
Yeah most of the demos I have seen/heard have been super-glitchy and noisy. There is nothing wrong with that, but I like the musical use here.
Yes and no, as i made the craziest Glitch with this module. Really awesome stuff to be discovered in this one.
It’s this demo that made me pull the trigger. Thanks for another skint month!
This is real ambient style, love this module, I love all from qu-bit
Thank you. This is the kind of demo I've been wanting to see for this module.
Stunning, musical, very effective demonstration. Nice work.
Lovely demo, first one I've seen of it, that made it make sense as an idea.
Great use of the Surface too 🙂
Very nice Robin. Such a cool module.
Well that was very lovely! I have no idea what was going on but it sounded great!
Really nice sounds on this one , thanks for the demo. This is a great duo of modules
Sounded great Robin.
'Keep-a-track-interesting'-EASY MODE. Imagining pairing this with a MAESTRO. Holy shit.
thanks for the clear demo.
sounds beautiful! reminds me of a koto
Very nice. You nearly went into Won't Get Fooled Again (The Who) at one point.
Nice! STO?
Great demo!
Oh you’ve made me very much want this Robin. I think it’s time to build a bigger case :)
This was a fantastic demo!
Thanks!

Great demo. Now adding to cart :)
Lovely melody.
Heavy on the Fourtet vibes for sure. +£300 makes me a bit meh though.
This is really great. I'm going to try connecting my Surface to Morphagene to see if I can generate something similar.
What are the similarities/differences between them?
Been trying to decide
@@bjmcduck The big difference, in my opinion, is the Morphagene is a deeper more complex unit. But as Robin showed in the demo, the Bender is easier to grasp and simply play.
Terrific!
I ordered one almost as soon as it was released. Very me. Much fun to be had. Its very good ........ I think I need a Surface as well :D
yeah, it wasnt until i plugged in the Surface that i really understood what it was doing
@@MoltenMusicTech I found my way around it by feeding in very simple sources so I could hear what it was doing. But still learning this thing and I have not even started with the CV modulation inputs. I think it's going to be very interesting with time synced modulation.
Amazing stuff!
Surface isn't going directly into Data Bender.. where is it going before?
Oh yes it is
Oh you mean the different cables - it’s patched through an unused and open filter
@@MoltenMusicTech But... surface has an orange cable in the output and DB has a braided at the input... do you have multi material cables?
@@MoltenMusicTech ahhh okay makes sense now :-), thanks for clearing it up. When used subtly this module is extremely pleasing.
This is great Mr V. what is sequencing the surface, really lovely stuff!
It’s out of the Black Sequencer
@@MoltenMusicTech Ofcourse it is! Awesome!
Simply incredible ! Superb demo ! Do you go through a reverb or it's built in ?
Oh, through a reverb - just a Erica Pico DSP
That sounds beautiful!
Do you mind sharing what you used for that dreamy reverb in this patch?
Erica Synths Pico DSP
@@MoltenMusicTech surprising! Thanks for the info.
nice. we need to see those cv/gate inputs in action, though! :)
Nah, it just complicates and turn it into a mess of glitches which is exactly what I didn’t want to show.
That's important info - makes me less interested in the module 🤷🏽♂️ great demo though
There are plenty of other demos out there with lots of modulation.
Dang it. I'm buying this module...
Thank you for making me spend money I don't have :D
