3 dead, 2 injured after early morning shooting in Columbus

Three people are dead and two others are injured after a shooting on the city's north side early Saturday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called out to the area of East 5th Avenue and Summit Street in the Italian Village neighborhood around 2:45 a.m on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found multiple people shot.
Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene while a third victim was pronounced dead at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center just before 3:30 a.m.
Other victims were taken to Grant Medical Center. Police describe one victim's condition as "stable," while another victim was taken in critical condition.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting. No suspect information has been released at this time.
