Team, I receivied a video from Orion Motor Tech on how to open the lid. I do not know how to post the video, so I will try to describe the procedure here. Disclaimer: I have not tried this and I am not responsible for any damage to the device or injuries. I am just sharing knowledge based on the video I just saw: You will need two pipes or metal bars. One has to be at least 24-36 inches long and the other one at least 12-18 inches long. The diameters of the pipes has to be as follows; the longest pipe has to be able to go thru one of the device's handles; the shorter one has to be able to fit thru the Triangle shape form on the front of the handle/trigger. Yes, if you look closely, the is a triangle shape opening on the front of the trigger handle. Next, sit down and place the device between your legs. Take the longest pipe and place inside/across one of the two handles, then use your body as leverage to ensure the device does not turn when you attempt to remove the lid. You could probably strap down the device somehow to prevent turning and not use your body. Once you have secured the device and prevent it from from turning, then use the shorter pipe and place inside/across the triangle part of the handle. The shorter pipe is the one you would us as leverage to turn the lid open it. Hope this help.
Unfortunately, you can't drain the bottle without a compressor, you can't the cover off. Tried with a strap wrench it won't budge. So, if you're on a job site drain the fluid and use new fluid to clean out the old fluid
Has anyone cracked the code on that stubborn lid? Will not budge. Is this a snap on lid or screw on lid? BTW, I have reached out to Orion Motor Tech folks. Will post answer.
I appreciate the video. I’m looking for something like this and I think this may be the one I end up settling on. If you don’t mind I have a few questions really quick. How would you say this compares to other types of break fluid extractors? How long would you say it took to fill and dispense?

Great video man.

Will my 6 gallon pancake compressor be enough to make this work?
Yes, you only need 45-50lbs
@@johnbarrett3170 Have you ever removed the lid, I cannot seem to get it off of mine.

Other fluid extractor do not have pressurized function i guess. At least the filling volume looks pretty decent.
The more thing i concern about is the leaking from the bottle.
