@@whadahek7 What we are looking for is a way to make it so that the middle mouse button pans instead of rotating. In other programs such as Autodesk Inventor, the middle mouse button pans. There are legitimate reasons why you would want to do this, mainly because if you pan when you don't mean to it is no big deal, however if you rotate when you don't mean to it can be extremely annoying to get back to the right rotation angle. If you are trying to pan but accidentally release the ctrl key, or if the ctrl key doesn't register for some reason then you are going to be rotating when you meant to pan. All in all, solidworks is kind of a pain in the ass when it comes to these small details, but it's not the end of the world.
