I have hesitated on buy the mega.. I want it on my vest for quick mag changes but that leg strap was a hold up.. you were the first to say the magic word! REMOVEABLE
Good video! When I set up my Maxpedition Falcon 2 as a daypack/EDC, the Mega Rollypoly went on the lower left side. Folded up it isn't even noticeable, but when I need it for picking up tinder, small kindling, nuts, fruits...along the way it holds a ton of stuff. I've used it at the range to toss in empty mags, and used shells. It even comes in handy, unfortunately, to pick up litter along the local trails and parks.
+Ultimate Survival Tips I'd enjoy your review of the pack. It would work great with my work as a commercial vehicle operator. I wouldn't need to carry my B.O.B. with me. All I'd need to use it the pack and store my E.D.C/ bug out gear without attracting attention.
They both seem phenomenal.. and for the price on both... i'd get both. The Condor i'd keep on your person when you're in the woods, and the Maxpedition would always remain attached to my pack.
nice video! That maxpedition is a little big, but I really like that condor one. You always convince me to get stuff. I might get it, AND I HAVE A DUMP POUCH already that rolls up.
Great roll up dump style pouch! It would be great for either gather fire materials or harvesting wild edibles. It's always good to have extra storage space when there isn't much space for it in your pack. Thanks for the review!
Hi Dave, great pieces of equipment, i'm using the larger one, it was a gift from a guy from the USA:-) thanks for the presentation and a great weekend!!! take care, Taro
+Taromovies Swiss Bushcraft Taro my friend. Hey, when do the leaves change in the Alps? Always makes me happy to see your comments! Have a great weekend bro! ~David
+Ultimate Survival Tips Thanks for your response David, now the time starts and in one or two weeks we will have all the great autumn colors and the clear air in the mountains to have a the best view of the year, wish you a great week!! Taro
david i was wondering whats the best survival axe is for multi purpose i need one thats good for survival camping and can be easly stored on a snowmobile with out any trouble thanks
Great, great comparison! I have them both, and both serve their intended purpose well but the maxpedition is of superior quality. But for the price, the condor isn't no joke.
Strange, you mention Maxpedition double stiching and thicker material, but the manufacturing-sheet and visual proof show that they use the same material and double stitching. I've never had any use for a dump pouch the size of a backpack like the Maxpedition.
Hey I got the gear pod it's a great kit I really like your videos and I just started going out in the woods I would like to ask you if you might be able to make a how to series on how to use all of the items because I'm not sure if I know how to use everything in my kit and I don't want to use it the wrong way thank you and I subscribed
+crewgadjy you don't have to tell me, I own a few pieces of maxpedition equipment. it definitely matters to some people though. I used to think vanquest was just a copier and they were ripping off maxpedition, but they're awesome to me, and becoming much more innovative.
crewgadjy nope, their stuff is done in Taiwan. Only their gun belts are made in the USA. Question : Where are your products made? Answer : Hi, Our nylon products are made in Taiwan and our Liger Gun belts are made in the U.S.A. It MATTERS because I want to support American workers. Yes, it is well made and Taiwan or the Philippines is better than China, but its still not the USA. If there is a USA manufacturer, I'd like to be able to compare them. I'm interested in becoming a dealer, but I want to be able to say that I am proud to sell only Made in USA products.
The Condor color is ok, but the Maxpedition color could attract unwanted attention at a vary inconvenient moment. I would like to see it in say Midnight Blue or other color that does not stand out from your surroundings. The color of most EDC and survival gear is like a throwback when trying to blend in to today's society. Not desirable at all. Though I do like the Maxpeditions size for a gathering bag. Both bags, when unrolled but not unfolded, remind me of a back brace. I'm thinking that might be an interesting take for say older people in your group of bug outers who would otherwise not be able to carry much in a standard pack but want to feel useful. Full length support would be ideal.
I've had the Condor pouch for some years now, and have "put it through it's paces" as a 'dump pouch' hanging off my Maxpedition Versipack. IMHO... it's not accurate to compare Condor to Maxpedition as the former being the lesser of the two products. I have several Condor accessories that have held up as good, or in some cases, even better than more expensive products. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages, and should 'stand alone' as such. Condor get's a "bum rap" constantly being compared to a VERY much more expensive product (that I feel doesn't deserve the expense) when all it lacks is the logo and name. Good video despite that.....
Very disappointed with customer service and warranty. Did you know that the "Lifetime Limited Warranty" has nothing to do with you? It actually has to do with the "Lifetime" of the materials they use and what Maxpedition perceives that to be. I quote "Lifetime is defined as the expected life of the product, not the user's lifetime." I learned the hard way when I called for a repair and was turned down

+Agnos Junior Thanks bro!
Great, great comparison! I have them both, and both serve their intended purpose well but the maxpedition is of superior quality. But for the price, the condor isn't no joke.
I have several of them in all 3 sizes. They are very useful.
Wassup David,
Am curious about the machete you are carrying in vid???
What's the knife on your belt at 4.11?
What kind ok gloves was he using?
Strange, you mention Maxpedition double stiching and thicker material, but the manufacturing-sheet and visual proof show that they use the same material and double stitching.
I've never had any use for a dump pouch the size of a backpack like the Maxpedition.
I have the mini one - indispensable

Getting one of these for my diaper bag =D haha thanks for the great review/explanation.
I like it why dont you do more maxpedition reviews?
Great video thanks
anyone know how to get these in Canada, or something similar
great video
great video! Very helpful in comparing the two . do you know if there are any American made canvas bag companies out there?
+alaskankare Maxpedition.
+crewgadjy Maxpedition is American but they do not make their products in america. I think that is what he's asking about.
Doesn't matter where it's made. It's designed in US if that matters to you, but it's built like a tank wherever its made!
+crewgadjy you don't have to tell me, I own a few pieces of maxpedition equipment. it definitely matters to some people though.

The Maxpedition comes in Small, Medium and Jumbo Sizes.
