Muay Thai - Technique Notes - Learning the Knee Guard

Jap, one of the coaches at Lamai Muaythai in Koh Samui, spent some time teaching me this knee guard. It eventually reemerged later in my first smoker at Eight Limbs in Bondi Junction.
Here are my observations as I learnt this technique from nothing. You may or may not find them useful or accurate. The material is from days 416, 419, 477, and 494 of my Muay Thai training.
