There’s a difference between a new meta where something comes into flavor because it can now compete with the best builds/accounts and something that is so overpowered that it makes all other accounts obsolete. It’s not healthy for PvP to say “if you don’t have a 1atk account, you lose pretty much every time”

I have all sorts of pure/PvP builds (1, 7, 40 atk builds and more, like 84str 83rng 40atk quested 26hp 1def 1pry), so such a nerf would impact me and I'd still support it. It should be the inverse of how halberds work. So 20atk 40str for rwh and 30atk 60str for dwh. If 30atk is considered too high for dwh, then they should at least make it 20 or do something really weird like make the requirement 28 or 30 attack but boostable (similar to the golden full helmet, where you technically only need 22 def to wear a 30 def item). That way, it becomes a separate build and isn't so overpowered. I'd be cool keeping rwh 1 attack if it had the old stats (like -14 less str bonus which at 80-85str is a whole like -3 less max hits). The rwh's buff was so absurd that in most situations, the rwh is superior to the battleaxe (+5 higher accuracy before even accounting for common crush vulnerability, and usually only 1 more str lvl required for same max hit as bax).

It’s not OP at all. Gmaulers can do the same. Not to mention he has completely maxed gear 50m+ risk even unskulled which nobody else will be doing. Also most won’t be using ranged because too many range levels ruins account.
They should make warhammers require half of the attack they used to, and all the strength still. So rune warhammer needs 20 attack, 40 strength, for F2P. Dragon warhammer requires 30 attack, 60 strength, for P2P. This would create new a new build without making the old 1 attack builds OP. The new build would be halfway between an obby mauler and a gmauler, which would make it fun to transistion from one build to the other, by using ranged during your fights. Whereas 1 attack obby maulers are limited to 67 ranged, so they rarely risk leveling it up during fights.
just a note - "Prod" does not mean prodigy - it means "product" The term was used derogatorily when the AGS came out to refer to pkers who were a product of the AGS, as they had no skill at pking but could still spec 70+ for random kills.

at level 55 you can hit more damage with Gmaul (also with more accuracy than a 1attack with d hammer). At level 80 you can 1tick gmaul ags spec someone for like what? 90 damage? At least. Also, with more accuracy, like way more, and WAY less risk than that guy was risking (he was skulled with full bandos, dfs and so on). In f2p, yes, you can hit higher than 40 attack pures with ur warhammer, but if we count in arrow damage+ 2h in a stack, they still do basically the same damage at like 55 cb, than someone with like 65 range 99 str with hammer at same cb (AND WAY MORE ACCURATE). So yeah, it's a cool update for sure, but if they nerf it, that's just dumb imo. Basically 40 attack 76 str 77 range with a arrow to 2h stack (13 arrow 22 2h = 35) vs 65 range 99 str 1 attack with a range to warhammer stack (11 arrow 26 warhammer = 37) BUT Way less accurate. Also with the 40 attack setup you can go in on your 13 arrows (guaranteed +2 damage over the other setup) and only go in on your 11 arrows. The warhammer also only has like 35% accuracy vs 1def in full iron whereas the 40 attack 2h setup has like 70-90% accuracy). And.. getting 76str 77 range is way easier than getting 99 str at 1def..... so it makes sense that setup would atleast have some kind of advantage, like at least a small advantage... (even though imo it doesn't even really have an advantage given how innaccurate it is and the fact that you won't be able to use range to stack long term cause you will level above 65-70 and your cb will go up...)

I think elder maul should be 60 attack. Its really kinda useless at 75 since theres ags, but in 60 theres nothing.
