A letter IS "handwritten evidence".
The only accounting are the retainer checks Trump paid Cohen. Trump was paying Cohen about 30k per month. The DOJ looked at this in 2018 and concluded there was nothing here. The checks aren't illegal in any way.

There was a letter going around last year, when this indictment was announced. It's Cohen's former lawyer stating that "Trump had nothing to do with the hush money payments. It was entirely Cohen's idea."
This is such a kangaroo court. They're having the defense provide evidence against non-crimes. This is Rachel Maddow's show carried out in a courtroom.

Now I know they’re simply bought and paid for with no interest in the truth or the American people. If you read the simplest news coverage (the most mundane inconsequential stories), you find the most simplest of mistakes, spelling, grammar, just a gamut of trash reporting. Hey I don’t mean to be critical I really like your show, but it seems that it would make much more sense if you released the full show first that way people could watch the entire thing through and release the segments later so that people could pick and choose which segments they want to watch. When I watch a couple of the segments because that’s what’s available first, and sometimes I don’t go back and watch the rest of the show because I don’t wanna figure out what I’ve already seen and haven’t. My two cents.
