I do not want to take the chemo drugs. I currently take Celebrix and low dose of prednisone. I have no pain or swelling on this. I have changed a lot of my wating habits and have lost a lot of weight eating antinflamatory diet clean food only. There must be something better than dmards. Where do you treat patients? I would like to consult with you.

Please, I am a person with psoriatic arthritis feeling pains in finger and toe joins, really needing help here,,I am in PNG so how could these treatments and the medications be possible here in PNG. I've been suffering for 5years now..is it possible to export or for rheumatologist to be here in PNG?

I’m 54 yrs old. I've had RA for six years and doctors never found the right medication. Now, I haven't been able to walk for a year and four months and ALL the medicines for RA don't work, because they cause a lot of pain (the symptoms get worse) and also cause side effects, such as swelling of the gums and dry, scaly skin. I don't know what to do (neither do the doctors!). I've already taken ALL biologicals (cause severe pain in my hands/knees and double vision) and DMARDS (Methotrexate causes unbearable pain in my hands/knees; I can’t even move my legs with leflunomide). Is my body saturated with so many chemicals? Even cortisone, for example 5 mg, causes so much pain that I can't even open my hands! What do you think of all this, Doctor? (I forgot to mention that I can't fully stretch my legs due to the pain).
I'm truly sorry to hear about the struggles you've been facing with RA and the medications. It sounds like you've been through a lot trying to find a solution. Have you considered seeking a second opinion or exploring alternative treatments?

I lived a normal life for 17 years on Enbrel until my neutrophils kept going too low. Then did Reutuxin for 2 rounds but had reaction. now I am not responding to anything. I am on the look out for stem cell research study once it goes into phase 3. I would like your option on stem cell.
Methotrexate is referred to as low dose çhemo. It makes your pH level very acidic. I was kept on it for too long. My teeth were destroyed, starting at my gum line. The rheumatologist didn't know what it was. Also, didn't know why my sinuses were blocked. It was because I had Sojgrens with the RA.
I am 34 years. And facing this deases from 7 years. Doctor give me Hc. Methotrexate.. Delta cortl. I am tired from this deases ND tablets. Now a days I feel OK. Bt when I do home task then pain is increase... Plz some diet plan
I have seropositive rheumatoid arthritis, 4 years now, i go round & round with my rheumatology doctor, they havent got a clue its all guess work & they usually guess wrong. Medical science has come on a long way over the years but not with rheumatoid arthritis 👎

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles with your rheumatoid arthritis. It must be frustrating dealing with guesswork from your doctor.
