You are so blessed! Believe me from experience! My Boston terrier Buster Brown ate a foot of his squeaky toy...had to have surgery! $4200! I looked at my husband and he said let's do it! He's our baby! Always remember dog spelled backwards is God. They are God's gift to us! Much love for Zeus and Percy! P.S. No fluffy toys either! The stuffing can block their intestines with the same results!

Excellent news. So glad Percy made it through that ordeal. Four years ago when my dog was a little puppy he got really sick also……. found out he ate a foil candy wrapper he finally got rid of it luckily. I couldn’t stop worrying that Percy would be okay. So happy he’s back home and eating again. 🎉❤💙🙏

It’s insane how expensive visits to the vet cost. Our first pup died 17 years ago and at that time it was shocking how much we paid for his diagnosis and tests. Fortunately we could afford it, but many families can’t and it’s heartbreaking to know that many pets are euthanized because their human parents can’t pay for the treatment they need. I wish more vets would think like Dr. Jeff and charge pet owners what they can afford to pay. He realizes how important our pets are and that they’re part of our families.
I had 4 dogs once and one of them was very possessive of the toys. No one but him got to play. When he died, I bought the others toys. I did not realize that one of my dogs had been deprived of toys so long that he did not know what to do with them. Long story short, he ate a rope toy. He seemed fine at first and for 3 days he pooped out what seemed like significant amounts of it. On the 4th day, he felt terrible and off to the vet we went. They thought he would have to have surgery but started with an enema first. It was far enough down his GI tract that it worked perfectly! No more toys. 😞 The look on my dog’s face when he saw his vet every time we went after that! Oh the side eye!! “That man stuck a tube up my butt!” And saved his life. There’s that!
