We have been doing Dreadtober since 2016, more than just Orks and still includes Dreads of all races or bigger models. Any community hobby incentive to paint the grey tide is a good thing
Hilarious, that the video is ostensibly about painting Orks for Orktober, and you still end up spending more time talking about space marines! I did see a Poorhammer video recently about the Primaris space marine range and it basically sold me on it. Feels good to have left behind my bitterness over the change.
I like your content and your chaotic, adhd-scatterbrain lack of structure is actually quite enjoyable. But god damn, your mic picks up everything. I feel like I can hear every movement of every nanoliter of saliva you've ever produced. Holy f*ck.
Happy Orktober! Have you considered a variant on the silver thing, where you prime black, then with a big brush do an heavy Leadbelcher drybrush? You can then do a slight drybrush of a brighter silver. It leaves the shadow dark and would allow you to save a ton on Nuln Oil :p
DO NOT TRY ORKTOBER! just a mere 23 days ago i was an avid death guard enjoyer and on my way to a 2000 point army, now mortarion is collecting dust half painted while im currently working on 40 grots, 20 boys, 4 hq's a trukk, a battlewagon, and a stompa, and im pretty sure my thick german accent is slowly becoming more and more "hooligan british". WAAAAAAAAAAGH
As much as I love your channel and the way you speak... It looks like you're more a Space Marine fan than a Warhammer 40k fan. Space Marines are cool and everything but, there's more to Warhammer than power armors. Just saying. No offense intended, and I will keep listening to your opinions on the hobby, because I like your generally optimistic point of view and your approach to collecting and painting 😊 Have you ever given other factions a try...?
@@podger_minis a nice step on the way to variety :) But you know your content is (at least) 95% Space Marines based. And that's fine. It's only a suggestion 😁

It's been a problem for a while. I'm addressing my audio setup in general
Merry Orktober to you Podger! (and a happy new waaagh)

Super hyped for the podcast! Love George and yourself! I have been having some time off from painting, my Seraphon are calling me back though...
This is why I love my wife she always try’s to push me to paint something different so I completely agree about a pallet cleanser
Happy Orktober to you! Heading to the FLGS today for hobby day, bringing 2 trukks, 2 deffdreads and the new big mek model to work on.

Have you ever considered playing kill team? Now that the rules are free, would you take your space marines out for a game
