  • Here we take a closer look at our 1957 Ford Fairlane Skyliner Retractable Hardtop. When it debuted, it was the first mass-produced production hardtop convertible. They were made for only three years, from 1957 to 1959, with less than 50,000 made during this time. AMCM's Jerry Frye is covering our Starmist & Dresden Blue car, which is a frame-off Jerry Miller restored example. It is very well-optioned with factory air conditioning, power brakes, and seats, along with the continental kit. The car is powered by a numbers matching 312 V8 found also in the Thunderbird, making 245 horsepower paired with an automatic transmission. Check out this video for more on this beautiful piece of '50s American innovation.

💙🍁🇨🇦Absolutely Stunning restoration. Huge fan of this retractable process. Much respect to those involved in their dedication for its survival. Love it.👍
