- Ever since we bought are new to us 2018 Silverado 2500 I have wanted to upgrade the casings to some mud terrains but it still had good tread on the old road runners that were on it. So after we wore them out towing all over the country I finally decided to buy some. How much better will it be off road? Will I ever get stuck again? Lets go mudding and find out!

We build Ironman Casings at the Texarkana Cooper Tire/Goodyear plant. I'd say they were worn out. No wonder you couldn't go anywhere!!

The burnout only cost a couple 32nds at best. Still, quite a bit shorter than when they were new.

Guys. I live in upstate NY, daily driver is a Honda Accord 5spd 0:56 . Now you got a mental image lol. I just a set of Cooper Evolution snow tires with studs! There's no getting stuck now.
Hope you talked to some companies that supply (pardon my language) tire machines about sponsorship.

I hope you got the business card of someone who sells tire machines while at PRI! At 1200 bucks a swap it won’t take long for a tire machine and balancer to pay for its self. I remember buying co-op grip spurs and buckshots for 150 a tire back in the day!

Josh & Tosh it's crazy on price now days! I had 78 Chevy Scottsdale i put small block 400 engine in Acworth build . Was short bed with 4x4 and 4 inch lift kit. Missing it!

Reminds me of one year long ago my dad and I went to a buddies house to go 4 wheeling with him in his pasture at night after a snow. One of the best times ever! Just spinning and drifting all over the fields tearing it up! Good times! Merry Christmas y’all…God bless you and the family.

God is soooo good and the things He does are amazing.
I was invited to speak at a conference this January in Minnesota and I really wanted to go, but I wouldn't go unless it was His will. So I put out a double fleece before Him. Within 2 days of being invited my engine locked up.
So here was the fleece. By November 15th I need a running drivable insured vehicle in my name and plane fare to and from Minnesota with transportation, a place to stay and food. Mind you I live in Tucson, Arizona and I put the fleece out on November 1st.
By the 6th of November I received a text telling me I had a host family waiting for me and to not be concerned with food, lodging or transportation in Minnesota. Then on the 7th I looked at car and truck prices all above $2500. I had saved only $1200. On the 8th of November a 2004 Ford Econoline passenger Wagon feel in my lap for $800. And the round trip tickets were purchased with the other $400.
Not only did He fulfill the double fleece, He did it before the time frame and provided for the future. Our ministry has an equipment trailer that we didn't have a proper vehicle to tow it with. This vehicle has the big V8 Triton engine, overload springs and hitch receiver already installed with wiring.

Check the pressures, I’m betting the shop put almost 80 psi in them things being it’s a 2500. That could be why it’s riding rough on the road 👍

I JUST LOVE THE FACT THAT THE WHOLE FAMILY IS INVOLVED WITH IT ALL !!!. MECHANIC'ING AND DRIVING & ALL. YOUNG KIDS KNOWING HOW TO DRIVE😊. MY PARENTS TAUGHT ME HOW TO DRIVE IN THE FIRST GRADE, I WAS A TALL KID, IN THEIR 66 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER THAT THEY BOUGHT IN 68 FOR $200.00 AS A STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY LONG AFTER IT WAS STOLEN AND INSURANCE CLAIM PAID. I GOT TO DRIVE ALL THE TIME IN THE DESERT. IN 74 WHEN MY MOM GOT DIVORCED SHE BOUGHT A 70 BOSS 302 MUSTANG, AND I GOT TO DRIVE IT AS WELL, AND QUITE OFTEN. THE FIRST TIME I DROVE IT I WAS BEING REAL EASY ON IT, BUT SHE TOOK IT A DIFFERENT WAY AND TEASED ME FOR BEING SCARED OF IT AND SHE LAUGHED AS WELL. SO SHE TOLLED ME TO NAIL IT, WELL SO I DID, AND HER RESPONSE WAS WELL THERE YA GO BOY. HER FIRST BOSS WAS A REAL NICE LOADED MODEL. SHE DIDN'T HAVE IT LONG AS SHE TRADED IT OFF ON A 72 4X4 SCOUT TO HER FRIEND FROM LUKE AFB IN AZ. SOLD THE SCOUT AND MADE ABOUT 45% PROFIT. TURNED RIGHT AROUND WITH IN 2 WEEKS AND BOUGHT ANOTHER 70 BOSS 302. IT WASN'T A NICE ONE AT ALL, IT WAS THE CHEAP STRIPPED DOWN MODEL, BUT THE SELLING POINT WAS THAT IT WAS PROFESSIONALLY BUILT AT THE PIT STOP HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTER IN SCOTTSDALE, AZ. IT WAS A BEAST!. IT COMPLETELY ANNIHILATED THE FIRST BOSS THAT SHE OWNED, BIG TIME !!. I GOT TO DRIVE THAT ONE HARD AS WELL. A BIT INTIMIDATING THOUGH. MY MOM RAN THE HELL OUT OF BOTH OF THEM, ESPECIALLY THE SECOND BOSS. GREAT TIMES, MOM WAS AWESOME !!. DAD WAS BORING. HE WAS LIKE AN OLD WOMEN. (( GODSPEED SLEEPERDUDE FAMILY. Tire pressure sensors are for people who want to get in their truck without a single thought in their brain and depend on their truck to do their thinking for them. Josh you should have a pressure gauge and a pump with you and do your thinking for yourself! It costs ZERO to think. Walmart has the deals on tires BTW.

Think of me as a Grandpa - I am 82+ years young! I know you like your Falcons! I've never owned one, but I did own a 1956 Ford Fairlane Cub Seday (back-om-the day). And my very first car was a 1930 Model A Ford coupe with a rumble seat (my High School Car). I feel like I know your family, and have noticed how youer children have grown over the past few years. Good luck with new tires! I have not had much luck with M/T and highway driving. I had some that did not do well about 10K miles and had to be replaced with some TA KO2's BF Goodrich A/T, so far - doing great both on/off road.
I do find it interesting that out of all the vehicles he has the Chevy truck & the olds wagon are the most reliable, that’s why I’m a gm man through and through!

I got a set of them on my 99 suburban they are a pretty good tire for the price and yes the do well in the snow as well and even better in the mud
Now you need to put some spray on bed liner on the bottom to protect against all the rocks

When I first got my Jeep CJ5 it had big tires on it like that by Big-O. They made a lot of road noise and were a bit harder to steer which I didn't notice until after I had replaced them with regular passenger radials. Suddenly it drove easier and was much quieter on the highway and I still never managed to get stuck in it back in our woods and fields and I took it into some hair raising places like narrow spaces between trees and a washed out creek bed that had once been a road sitting at a decent angle. I just put it in granny and crept right through. Back then we had county roads that would disappear into a creek on one side, you'd drive sometimes a quarter mile up the creek bed and then find the county road again on the other side. Those roads have all been abandoned for ages now though and the ones that haven't have all been bridged.

I love this family. I wish I had neighbors like ya'll I'm sure my neighbors look outside some days and say what is that boy doin now but that would just make me happy to have neighbors testing out their tires in a field. BTW Josh. I have a 88 Lincoln LSC you might be interested in. Lost my daddy a couple months ago and he always wanted to save cars and put them away but we aren't gonna keep all these and I know you like them. I'd love to see you end up with her. I live in Michigan the cars from Florida been in a barn the last 12 to 14 years. Lemme know. She isn't Goin anywhere anytime soon

You can buy a tool (cheap) to pare to your tps. Takes a couple of minutes to do it. I bought a set of rims from a junk yard, and managed to pare them to my mariner. Now I have summer and winter tires.
Excellent video Sleepdude 2 Crew Josh :) also family orgnaill tires are All Season type and new ones are 4×4 truck types made for truck thats differences to if want know ! Best get those ones for use all year around and save getting stuck you pull out better too Lol!

The wheel and tire combo looks great. Firestone Tires is looking for MT new tire testers for free BTW.
They gave you a hard tractor- trailer rubber compound to lower the cost and increase the wear longer but its hard compound and gonna ride rough. You can (air them down) for a smoother ride and even more traction arround town. About 10 or 15 lbs is as low as you can go and thats handy if you get a snow storm or a flood but stay away from the highway with 10 PSI, I'm sure you know that 😊
I put tiger paws on a 2 wheel drive and never had any issues.

Those casings would be great for snow. Those darn tire sensors, people drove without them forever. Now it will free up older cars for us other folks. No tire sensors, I cant drive without them. Thanks for the fun video!

You wanna know about muddin', I'm your guy. 25 years ago I built my first mud truck, a 1982 Mustang GLX on a 1979 Bronco chassis 400 CI 6.6L, C6 auto, Ford 9" rear, Dana 44 front, sittin on BFG 35" Mud Terrains. I was unbeatable anywhere I went. Capable of driving through 2 feet of snow in 2 wheel. Able to go through 3 feet of swamp in 4 wheel. As a mildly stock build in everything I do, I seem to have the most fun. You should be good with those tires. I have Coopers on my 98 Ram right now.
