I feel about the same. It’s a fun and cute show, but it has never fully gripped me. Usually each episode has at least one thing where I’m like “Oh, I like that!” but I’m usually not totally drawn in for the full episode.
So far I’ve liked getting character moments with the kids. Like episode 4 is probably my least favourite so far but thank God for Neel because his moments of not thinking war, especially as children, is a fun adventure and that violence or hurting other people is exciting and cool was really great. And then in this latest episode, I quite enjoyed the stuff with KB.
Since this show is based on The Goonies, I have been wondering if it might have been better as just a film, especially as we’re getting close to the end and it feels like we’ve held back way to much on the mysteries here.
I did get a kick out of Wim saying “They can talk! That means they’re intelligent!” Ummmm, Qui Gon would disagree, Wim. 😅
