You can just test the max clean signal from the head unit through the amp. The manual for the DD1 even suggests doing it that way first before you start setting the amp gains.
Does the bass, treble and mid on the head unit need to be set to 0 when doing this? If so after you set the gains will adjusting the head unit change the distortion and need to be redone with the DD1?
-10db 40hz would be compromising to make your system louder + quality -15db 40hz Would make your system louder -5db 40hz would give your system the maximum quality sound
Hi can I ask om.using this tool and the signal drops off when setting gain on the amp get 3/4 way up then the signal dissappear no distortion really stuck done everything on instructions
Yes, EVERYTHING set to flat or off. Yes. Altering any settings after gain is set will cause distortion. I still cant completely grasp this thing cuz using the dd1 will give you the cleanest signal sure, but it's basically telling you to keep all audio settings & perameters off or to flat. So then your system will sound just that... flat. But hey, you'll have a clean signal! 🙄
I don’t know what you’re talking about, that was informative and wasn’t long at all. Your attention span must be shit. Make too short of a video and people wonder about the little things that get missed.

Thank you for this information on how to setup your system. Have a great day. Great video

What does the negative db mean ( ex: -15db , -10db etc ) on the smd tracks

EXTREMELY LONG WINDED. MAKE IT AS SIMPLE AS THE TOOL IS. YOU DRAG THIS OUT FOR NO REASON!
