- Today, I reviewed the Steam Deck Oled Handheld Game Console. This is an incredible device that does not dissappointed. I decided to go ahead and purchase the OLED model instead of the LCD. With that choice of panel, the screen is very sharp and vibrant. Also, with a great battery life and optimized button positions, this devices is one of the best when it comes to portability.

I'm not salty that the OLED model was announced a couple of weeks after I bought the 64GB version, a 1TB SSD and a vented backplate. I SAID I'M NOT SALTY!!! 😂😂😂
I was in Japan earlier this year and the OLED was completely out of stock so I had to settle with the LCD model, I figured it's still better than no deck at all and it's not my main gaming device and I love it it's great. Use it mainly for emulation but also have steam games I usually wouldn't play and or are better relaxing in bed or somewhere else.
Great video ! 67 Year OG gamer and I think I am going to order the 512 OLED . I do a lot of pc building for desk tops but this would be great for the lake or cabin .
Thanks, and I agree with you, this is the perfect gaming console for a weekend out at the lake or cabin.
love your energy, waiting on mine to ship, your vid got me even more excited
I’m a gamer but I work on a ship for months straight at a time with no Wi-Fi and hardly any internet access most of the time and the steam deck has absolutely saved my life 🙌🙌🙌 it truly made life so so much better for me
Good deal, I’m glad I could be of assistance to you. I couldn’t imagine being on a ship for that long without internet or something fun to do. Glad the Steam deck keeps you sane.
Awesome review 🔥
Lol, I can see where the tagline “Tech Reviews Made Simple” came from; the way you explained LCD vs OLED is just that! 👍
The B button sticks out of the box for some reason, but after a few hours of use, it goes away. If for some reason it doesn't go away, Valve's customer support is top notch! They'll replace it.
Rog ali and the lanova 😂😂😂😂😂 great review bro.
I used my LCD steam deck more than any other handheld gaming device that I've owned. But I use the OLED model so much more than I did my LCD version, I think it's well worth the upgrade.
I never looked back after I bought the steam deck oled
Crazy emulation device
This 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Definitely!
Bro at this point I don’t know what to do lmao I keep talking my self out of upgrading from my lcd but yet I’m on RUclips damn there everyday watching oled videos……I only play my SD when I’m at home and mainly play it for emulation I mainly game on my ps5
The Steam Deck OLED is a 1.70 upgrade from the LCD version. Although this is somewhat significant, If you're only playing emulations, then I would just stay with the LCD version until the Steam Deck 2 comes out.
Same haha. I keep convincing myself not to buy but also watch these oled video reviews lol.
@@markfrankstechreviews3744 yea that I think Imm do I just have to stop watching these oled video and go on a detox lol
I’m a PlayStation fan through and through but lately I’ve only been gaming on my OLED deck. I haven’t even turned my ps5 on despite having purchased new games. A cheat code is to use the deck with GeForce now for the “too powerful” games.
1TB version is worth it however if you're going to be playing in well-lit environments because of the matte screen!
You can get a screen protector that does the same thing. I prefer the pop and contrast of the regular version
Can you play simulator games on it
No. Only Dark Souls 2.
