  • We have had a lot of people asking what's happing with the channel.
Long Story short. Life. It's not all on Tom thats for sure, I haven't been able to film as much as we would of liked. The boring stuff aside, we have a plan to get back to regular uploads as Jiu jitsu and filming is something we both live for. Stay tuned, keep watching, keep rolling!

    TESTIMONIALS
‘Started hitting the moves laid out in these courses the very next class...extremely uplifting to have such a quick improvement in my game’ - Houston, TX
‘I’m the only white belt in the academy doing these moves…I’m suddenly competing at a blue belt and above level…thanks Coach Tom’ - LA, California
‘Some of the best strategies you are going to see for control and submission’ - London, UK
‘The detailed way Prof Tom breaks down his moves into the absolute essentials is just next level for me. This is absolute gold‘ - Sydney, Australia
‘Most of the guys at my Academy, have about 60lbs on me, but since purchasing your ‘Kimura Attack system’ and ’14 days’ everything has changed. I feel much more confident, roll better and the guys on the mat have commented on the same. Thanks, Coach Tom’ - Dallas, TX
‘I know you have your names for your courses, but I’ve renamed them the ‘Zero to hero’ courses, I went from getting constantly owned, to now being completely dominant on the mat in no time at all’ - San Diego, California
‘I use the course material heaps, and just recently put it into action at a local comp, walked away with double gold. No one was more surprised than me! - Miami, Florida
‘As a new white belt, these classes have helped me so much, Prof Tom’s technique, the details, and his attitude. I love how Prof. Tom shows the ‘mistakes people make’ and then shows the correct way of doing things. The only one I have ever seen do this’ - New York, New York
Great videos, great instruction. I just watch them for hours…Melbourne, Australia
‘The instructional saved me big time at a recent comp, my opponent was def more experienced, but that was ok, coz I had Prof Tom’s video in my brain. Nailed it and scored gold’ - Colorado, Denver
‘All of it. Everything you show in your awesome videos are now my ‘go to techniques’. Thanks for your vids Prof, Tom’ - Houston, TX

We really appreciate all the kind words from every single one of you, Tom and I can't believe how many positive messages came through. Within a couple hours of the video going live we had OVER 50 POSITIVE MESSAGES!
Think about that, I live on YT and every single comments section on every single channel is a toxic waste land...not here ! As it stands we have 81 comments all wishing Tom the best and can't wait for us to start uploading regular again. THANKS. We see you, we love you. Tom and I are f**king pumped for 2023. LETS GO!!

I think that's a testament to who Tom is and his channel. I have never met Tom let alone trained with him but he's had a huge positive impact on my BJJ journey. I think it stems from his attitude and his approach to training that ultimately we are all in this together by nature of stepping onto the mat.
You can rise by stepping on top of others, or you can rise by pulling others to where you are and by being humble and positive to your training partners regardless of where either of you are at on your journey.
I have come to love the idea that every time we slap hands or bump fists it's our opportunity to leave an offering on the mat...What kind of offering are you going to leave?
I know that besides learning techniques from Tom, he has also shaped my outlook on how I train and who I want to be as a training partner to others. Respect and gratitude to you Tom and your team.

Hello Tom & Garry, my Jiu-jitsu journey started a little over 5 months ago. I have been watching your videos and applied so much of what you teach with success and I had no idea this had happened to you. I still have 90% of your channel to catch up to (right now I’m only looping the beginner videos) and even though you’re down (not out) you still teach me moves every day. So take your time, heal right, we will be here waiting for you when the time is right to come back. Thank you for everything you have done and will do in the future for the sport. Blessings on blessings, Paul.

I’m 27 and suffered a massive heart attack this past year from an artery dissection (didn’t know if I was gonna make it out) but your videos got me through my hospital stay and recovery. Today I randomly thought to check to see what you are you doing on your channel. I am surprised and so sorry to hear you have had so many bad life experiences happen to your life and body. You still smile through the pain which shows your character. You inspire many people and I know you will be back better than ever. You have my respect and prayers.

All the best for whatever your future holds. I look forward to more videos if it's that.
My only unsolicited advice is listen to the doctors and do what they say, including not doing what they say not to do. They know what they're talking about and defying them is seriously not worth it. I'm sure you've been frustrated by white belts doing things their way because your suggestion is hard or boring. And you know if they just listen and do what you say their BJJ will improve more and faster. It's the same thing. :)
As an excessively physically damaged person I know things will never be the same. Different is not worse, it's just different. I truly hope your recovery gives you joy (all the physical, mental, and emotional recoveries) and the new wisdom will simply be more of your already awesome teaching.

Hey coach Tom, hope you are recovering well! Just wanted to let you know that it's been a year I started training in BJJ and a huge part of the encouragement to start going came from watching you. I recently got 4 stripes on my white belt (I skipped a couple promotion days involuntarily) and a lot of the "surprise" techniques I know came from you. I'm 34 and it's been such a life changing event and I've met some of the most amazing people. Thank you so much and I hope you can make a return as soon as you're healthy enough to do so! Also, everyone is amazed at my belt tying skills since it's the only one that doesn't fall off from rolling since I practiced your method for days before even attending class.

I'm 62 yrs old and live in USA, Colorado and I just signed up for BJJ on January 1st of this year after my step son ( who has trained for 5 yrs and is a purple belt) talked me into it. I found your RUclips videos very helpful and I'm glad I have an ample library of them to watch until you are fully healed and back on the mat. I know this is just a temporary setback for you. Keep that wonderful attitude of gratitude you have, put God first and pray and this will all be behind you before you know it. Listen to your body and all will be fine. Best wishes and prayers are with you.
