I lost my mom and my aunt gifted me her purse years later that even has my moms address book full of family members in it, along with her signature. It is all I have left of my mom and I never want to lose it. My sister also gifted me a drawing my dad did, franed and signed. Him and I didn't always see eye to eye and it took a lot for me to forgive him but as his health started plummeting, I forgave him amd learned that he taught me a lot growing up. I keep these things of my mom and dad to carry on and remind myself, they did all they could to make sure I was happy and healthy.

Violins are smaller than violas and have a higher pitch. Their strings have different tunings (though both are in fifths) and violins use the treble clef while the viola uses the alto clef. The bows are shaped and weighted differently + credit given to viola player in the community are rarer i would say 😅@@firecracker187

You can also watch the left hands of both players and you can see they aren’t making the same “finger movements”. This is because the viola is deeper than the violin, so a D on the viola, for example, will be at a different position than on the violin.
