You should really listen to Betty Who, Britt Nicole's "Britt Nicole" album, songs by Lenno or the"Twelvefour" album of The Paper Kites before you give that title to her....Not to say she's a bad artist or anything like that. However, there's quite a little list of artists who capture the 80's aesthetic more accurately than she does, imo.

Really? The lyrics are incredibly sad to me but that’s why this is my favorite CRJ song. I am an absolute sucker for emotional, moody, euphoric, and cathartic pop songs. Guess my love for Tove Lo makes sense having said that.
I was in H&M the other day (pls don't judge) and this song came up and I was vibing on it so hard it took all my restraint to not like grind up against the other people in the line to the fitting room.

She got my attention when I first heard Run Away With Me, which I found incredibly good, and so I gave the album a try and it is without a doubt one of the best pop album of 2015. It's very surprising coming from her, I thought she was just a one-hit girl, but this gem up here is enough to prove me wrong. It's truly a shame that she's so underrated...
