What I love most about Japanese food is how they make even the simplest of food looks amazing. I mean here it's red bean, mochi and green tea, yet the simple and elegant presentation with those earthy bowls makes you salivate and crave it. I'm really enjoying your videos. So beautiful and relaxing. Thank you so much.

I'm going to tokyo in July for 2 weeks. I'd love to visit this teahouse. But I'm not familliar with these kind of things. Can I handle it like a normal cafe? So just enter and sit down and order? Or are there special behaviours I should know?
My japanese is not really good. but I might be able to say: まっちゃ しらたま ぜんざい が たべたい :D

malucken I don't think there's any strict rules in most traditional cafe apart from not making noise. I'm not too sure about teahouses though, I haven't been to one yet, but I would expect the same rules. As for placing orders, たべたいonly indicates your desire to eat and nothing else. You can try saying まっちゃ しらたま ぜんざい を ひとつ おねがいします。
The only other cafes I've been to are maid cafes in Akihabara which prohibit phototaking within premises. If you like a quiet Victorian style maid cafe, I would recommend Cure Cafe. It's one of the oldest (if not the original maid cafe) in Akihabara. No fancy games and events, just purely for enjoying their food and ambience while being served by prim and proper maids.

There seems to be something wrong with the audio in this video... It sounds very muffled.

Do you know where we can buy chasens outside of Japan, or if there are online stores that sell those and ship internationally?
