In Podgorica you will find a couple of Ottoman masjids. We went to one of them for Zuhr on a Saturday. We didn't know the time and arrived half an hour early. There were children's Islamic classes in progress so we were invited to sit at the back. But you could see the children were curious about us. So I asked to talk to them between end of class and zuhr with their teacher translating. I said I am from London and my family originally from Pakistan. I told them our imam at our masjid in London is from West Africa. We have different languages, different food and sometimes different clothing. But I told them whether we are from England, Pakistan or Montenegro when we get together to pray Zuhr we will be praying together in one prayer in the same Arabic language. This is something very powerful that few religions can say.
