As someone who does tree service climbing for a living I've used folding saws almost everyday but this might work on small easy stuff but I almost guarantee you it would definitely get in a bind if you tried cutting most limbs

Looked to be cutting from both sides and that the blades met in the middle…with those two things actually functioning properly, it’s impossible for it to be “less effective”; it is a faster cut than if he were to just leave it one bladed..even if it’s by 1 millisecond, it’s still faster…making is more efficient and effective. Don’t hate just because it’s so simple and you didn’t think of it..
@@flyfish697 the spring force is not enough to make it more effective than just one saw. with two saw blades where one is only pushed towards the center by a spring how could it be more effective?
How so? The top blade will cut normally with the bottom spring one assisting. Even if it did 10% the cutting of the top blade, you're still at 110% work done in the same time
@@MrMikeT89 I agree it is "more effective" even if a negligible difference. On the other hand, if one blade does 10 percent of the work, the other will do 90 percent. I'm not sure where you got 110 percent, but let's not spew more stupidity across the internet. It is already pretty bad as is.

Я делал ГОРАЗДО ПРОЩЕ - БЕЗ СВАРКИ - примерно как ножницы возле ручки , только 2 оси отдельно сантиметров в 4 примерно , и две планки деревянные струбциной прижаты там же в качестве направляющих для нижнего полотна , плюс на конце обоих полотен по дырочке для пружины . . Это первая моя такая конструкция . А вторая проще - две ножовки просто жёстко соединены друг с другом не параллельно , а под 10-15 градусов . И в корне разнос 1 - 2 сантиметра . Ручка соответственно в обоих конструкциях одна . Всё прекрасно работает уже более 12 лет

I was impressed for a bit at the precision of the build. But no won't hold up over time and the added saw adds more friction which takes more effort. Just make or buy electric powered saw instead .

Sonra bir baktım onun ucuna testere aparatı da yapmışlar, aldım ispiral ve testereyi. İspiral ile demir falan kestim o ayrı, aparatı bağlayıp 30 cm çapında kütük de kestim. (Tabi öncesinde bayağı kuru dal kesince, kütüğü tam kesemedim, şarj ettim ve kestim.) Sonra baktım olmuyor, gittim benzin motorlu testere aldım. Şimdi kafam rahat. Akülü ile ufak işler, benzinli ile büyük işler. Ayrıca, bu testereyi tekli halde zor kullanıyorum, ikilisini nasıl kullanacaksam artık!
