This might be a bit early to share this fan theory but the reason gabriel is acting nice towards adrien is because he got cataclysmed. He's slowly dying and he knows it. He is trying to get close to adrien, not because he has changed but because he needs adrien to be attached to him and genuinely want him back. Emilie is gone, Nathalie is sick and he doesnt have much time left. Adrien is the one person that remains, that loves all 3 of them. He's preparing Adrien to become the next person on the throne, the next Monarch. This will make more sense after you watch episode 7.

Well the power of the miraculous is not called teleportation but migration
Gabriel's newfound kindness is obviously very forced, based on his tone of voice.
My theory about why Tomoe Tsurugi (Kagami’s mom) is helping Gabriel is because of her blindness. I’m guessing that maybe Gabriel promised to restore her sight whenever he uses the miraculouses to make the wish. I don’t think he quite understands how the wish works because I believe that he is currently under the impression that he can make whatever wishes he wants if he wields both the ladybug and cat miraculous. He’s probably gonna want to restore his own body as well as revive Emilie if he gets the chance to make a wish but I don’t think he’s aware that he can probably only make one life altering wish, not multiple. I believe he’s probably making promises to people like Tomoe to give them a wish as well if they help him.
Also at 6:43 the reason Gabriel got angry in that moment is because some of the oil he was cooking with splattered on him. How the hell he felt that when it literally landed on his apron and he has a shirt underneath, I have no idea. Gotta love how in his fit of rage, he grabs and pan and literally holds it face down over his shoulder right near Adrien’s face. His problems would be a lot worse if he suddenly burned his son’s face with a bunch of hot oil. Good thing children’s show logic saved Adrien lmao

I honestly totally forgot she was blind, I agree, that definitely could be a reason why she is helping him. Lol I thought the same too, I thought he was only allowed to make one big wish not as many as he wants XD and now that he is literally dying! he may want to help himself now 😅 ohh dang, wow, that guess he really hates getting stuff on his clothes.
