Before I forget, I got my candle today, and it smells wonderful! I'll think of you all every time I light it. Use to like sauce making season. Grandparents had a HUGE garden and even bought more tomatoes, just to make a years worth of sauce for our families. Always smelled so good. Best part was the homemade spaghetti and meatballs grandma made when we were all done canning. Grating garlic releases more of the oils and makes it even healthier. Growing and Cooking your own food is so very rewarding on numerous levels. I give you kudos for jumping in on a great learning adventure.

What a great video, Charlotte. My mom used to add a few whole bay leaves, then after hours , like all day, simmering, she would pull them out.
