I've chased laser pointers like that, and last I checked I was pretty damn smart :P intelligence (also general intelligence is not an actual thing that exists, it is not a viable standard) is not relevant to one's ability to have fun chasing the pretty shiny light
A split second pass by the eye yields nothing. It is negligible. In order to incur any level of ocular damage by a laser pointer, it would require prolonged /direct exposure/ into the pupil itself. Someone's animal going blind by /a laser pointer/ will never be an accident. That does not happen by accident. That happens because someone deliberately focused a laser into the pupil of another creature. That would be why there are WARNINGS on the packages of both presentation lasers and pet toys.
DimplyBean From what I have read, caiques prefer to walk around rather than flying (of course, I dont know for sure because I don't have one. I think I'm going to get one soon though 😁).
"Be careful!" was by the time I was five years old. YOU are. I'm also not the one getting insanely pissed off because a stranger on the internet, especially a stinky GIRL, is poking holes in my weak grasp of logic. YOU are. Backtracking a little, allow me to explain to you what this "Be careful!" thing is. It's this thing that you do when you are engaging in potentially dangerous activities, (i.e. everything) by maintaining some manner of control over the situation. "Be careful!" is what we
note to the author of this video , you shouldn't be pointing a laser regardless of strength at any animal it can damage their sight , and a sightless bird is very sad to see , imagine if your caique flew into a wall ?
another commenter had already much more politely and less presumptuously advised. By your logic, because ACCIDENTS HAPPENS HOLY SHIT, no one should ever take their birds out to play with them, they should be kept in glass cases where no stray projectile or animal paws could possibly get to them, and their perches should be no higher than two inches of the floor lest they FALL DOWN AND HURT THEMSELVES. Furthermore, I would be more concerned with THE CAT LOOSE IN THE ROOM than the damn laser.
Sweetheart, I'm female. Don't be rude. And there's a difference between face and eyes, unless by some ungodly twist of nature your eyes constitute the entirety of your face as well as your head. I'm going to point this out to you one more time because you seem more interested in flinging insults in some bewildering form of word soup in an attempt to make yourself out to be bigger in this situation. Your comment was rude and unwarranted not only because of your tone, but because you repeated what
Wow. All of this buttmad because I dared to disagree with you. Look, it's like telling people how to parent their children. Don't do it expecting people to immediately go HOLY SHIT YOU'RE RIGHT. They're not going to. Telling someone how to take care of their animal that is clearly in excellent health and enjoying itself is rude. It's fucking rude and none of your business. Save that shit for people who are deliberately and intentionally doing harmful things to their pets.

Correction: you shouldn't point a laser at an animal's FACE. Don't be such a ninny.

shut up nerd
wonderfully stupid youtube comments arguments...
