Back in 2005 I was a big Lackey doubter, I thought he rarely made any moves and was overrated... Over the last couple years though Lack has stepped up his game and refined his surfing massively.. Right now he is surfing better than he has his entire career and has separated himself from the rest..While some guys are better at certain aspects of DK ,Lackey is by far the best all round rider out there, And I reckon the best is yet to come....
i was such a doubter of lackey for years up until i got the Lackey Projct yesterday, there is no doubt in my mind he is the best in the world now, he went from being too frantic landing almost nothing,then too cautious of not landing stuff,NOW he has the style power consistency that few other dkers have ever had,dont judge this comment till you see the movie cause i was a doubter too,its defnitely NEXT LEVEL SHIT!!!
@zacgob its different, harder and much more fun in the eyes of some. It's harder to control, it's harder to make the drops down the face and the maneuvers required for cut backs, sprays and airs are much more difficult dropkneeing on a bodyboard than it is to surf.

Guess what, I surfed with cass many times...i dont need to see his video, roach is old school and his style hasn't changed much, he definitely charges but as far as tricks and style points..that goes to bud. I surfed with Bud today. bud was Busting DK air reverses on a heavy reef break and if that isn't impressive to you than I don't know what to tell you buddy.
so your opinion on Buds style is based off of one video he and his friends made when they were bored? Try watching his underground DK videos, try watching him in person. Not to mention the fact that Bud is undefeated in the DK world title. To say he has a "little guy" style and "doesn't bring as much power" is kinda ridiculous.
