I think the music industry is 50% sheer luck, then 40% is marketing and the other 10% is talent. Most people in it are talented to some extent, but that sheer luck thing is what makes some people rocket up there (sometimes I scratch my head at many of the people who are famous--- like wait what why so and so is like 10,000x better). like personally i think Sundfor is far better Gaga as a songwriter... but she's not really famous internationally. And I do love Aurora..but there are other Norwegian artists that are equivalent or even better.. like can we get more people to be internationally famous outside of Europe???
