I drive a 2019 ford fiesta se so it ain't nothing to brag about but one day we went to a car show and he was like you shouldve entered your car its way nicer than some of these😂 i was like dad your crazy😂 I bought a new project car(93 accord) so we could start building it together but 2 months ago he got into a head on collision which put him in the hospital for over a month going through 5 or 6 surgeries. He's now at home in casts, taking meds, and can only sleep on a hospital bed right now becsuse he can't really move around the house to much. Everyday he's slowing getting better so I can't wait till the day he is able to walk on his own. I'm going to have the engine pulled so we can finally start rebuilding it❤ Dad's sometimes make it seem like what your doing isn't worth the money but when they see how happy it makes you they will always show ways that make you know they're proud of you and what your doing❤

My biological father was gone before I could form memories but no dad causes a great lack of motivation in dudes so we tend to look insatiably for a figure to fill those boots. My step dad was an Egyptian guy, taught me more than I could ever realistically even learn on my own. And he put in work as a father, let me call him dad and never gave a shit when people thought it was weird a white kid called a black dude “dad” and spoke Arabic. Dads will never play their hand, but they have ways of letting us know they still ain’t folding
