Now I am 54 , .... At about 50 , I started feeling pain in my left leg , Kolkata is becoming more and more crowded, more traffic, you have to wait at every signal ..... too much hectic .
I am just giving my personal opinion , please don't think I am criticising your decision.

Na na - I thought of taking an automatic. Actually I started with a budget of 12-13lakhs. Extended it even further to get the Honda City. If I had opted for the automatic, then it would have cost me 16L approx. Oi jonnoi r stretch korlam na.
However, the manual 1.5 litre ivtec engine is just awesome - feels great to drive it on the highways if you are a driving enthusiast☺️

V te almost all necessary features are available. Sunroof, left mirror camera, erokom kichhu minor jinish VX e additional achhe. But V te allow wheels, same music system, ADAS, request sensor, star stop button, auto climate control, shob e V te available 👍🏻

Amra actually Feb 2024 theke onek gulo SUV test drive kore dekhlam within 12-14 Lakh budget, like Hyundai er Venue and Exter, Kia er Sonet, Maruti Nexa Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyrider, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Nissan Magnite. Honestly speaking, amader i20 er ride quality compare korle oto smooth ride quality pai ni.
Actually SUV te body roll thake, j karon e gari ektu beshi dole compared to large hatchbacks or full-sized sedans. Off-road or pahari rasta na hole SUV er proper use hobe na.
Er por Hyundai er Verna and Honda City test drive korar por r kichhu bhalo laglo na. Firm drive quality, safety features, other features, etc shob miliye ei dutor moddhe ekta newa confirm korlam.
And then Honda City amar chhotobelar dream car. Plus kono na kono karone it felt more mature and premium and reliable compared to Verna - r eta amader completely personal opinion. 1.5 litre segment e Honda City er ivtec engine is the best.
Tai eta e finalise korlam considering amader 70% city drive n 30% highways 😊

I have taken test drives of a number of SUVs, the ride quality of hatchbacks and sedans are much better in the city or on highways. Since our requirements revolve around 70% of city drive and 30% highways, we felt a sedan would be more appropriate. Off-road or hilly roads conditions e SUVs are more appropriate we feel. Tai Elevate ta r consider korini.

@@kirankumarmrjainyes I drove the Verna. We finalised Verna and Honda City in the end, and selected the City over the Verna based on quite a few factors, some of which are very subjective and may vary from person to person.
While the Verna feels way ahead of the present times with respect to design, the City felt more solid, reliable and smooth to me. Also, the all-round design of the City appealed to me a bit more than the Verna.
We did not like the Ciaz’s design, especially the interiors. We did not go for a test drive of the car.
