Yea. I actually suggest getting more than one since most high end phones tell you if a gps tracker is following you. I'm hoping if some thief takes one of the things I have trackers in and they will just think any more warnings will be the one they already found. I think I have something like 18 gps trackers of 3 different brands. You can buy packs of them open box for cheap. I even have two hidden in my grill.

Pro tip, if you have anything of value you keep outside or at a place you aren't at often and being watched I suggest getting a few GPS modules. The more expensive the better the gps. Though I suggest using a few different GPS units in case one is found. Many phones will warn you if a gps tracker is following you around for more than a couple miles. I do that because if they do get the warning then find one I'm hoping they will think any new warning will just be an echo of the one they already found. I have them in my motorcycle, ebike, my grill, my trailer, camper, boat and I have some for when i travel that I put in my bags.
I got one better. Our company operates a fleet of about a dozen boats for survey work. While we were surveying an island for a restoration project, the boat developed motor problems while in a surf zone. The crew beached the boat at the project site and spoke to the construction company performing the restoration work. They hooked up a line to the pad eyes of the boat and with a dozer pulled it out of the surf and up onto the beach. The next day while we were sending one of our mechanics to the boat to check it out, we were served papers from an attorney representing the construction company. Within 24 hours the construction company filed a salvaged vessel claim and declared it to be in their custody and now ownership. They wanted the value of the boat and onboard survey equipment in order to drop the claim. We were completely shocked. We were all working on the same project team and they had the nerve pull such a stunt. The moral of the story, people can be terrible and those who seek to profit during times of need are evil.
Great it says 11 comments but only 7 are actually live. My comment is also been deleted I see. I guess "Local 10" doesn't want people in the community to post their actual experience and opinion. Lets see if this comment remains.
It is mostly YT that deletes comments not to their liking; You can post most any sexually explicit or use vulgar profanities...but, there are TWO tabus: Do not criticize Israel, or any of their actions or leaders or jews in general! I've just deleted a comment sexual in nature that appears every day on every video; I guess it is a bot, but still it is very annoying and YT doesn't care!
🤣🤣🤣Guess what! I wrote you a comment and YT erased my comment too! 😭😭 if you do see the boat & call crime stoppers - you’ll still want to know how much the reward is… soooooo either way it’s for ransom. Either by the crooks or the cops 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Another genius! Will risk going to jail for years, but won't work for a safe, steady paycheck.
$75,000 boat, but no air tag or gps tracker. That thing is in the hood, being stripped and destroyed.
The usual suspects.
Drug Smuglers?
Why didn’t he have an AirTag on it, if it doesn’t have gps built into the boat?

Tidewater is a nice boat. i think the owner will get it back.
No if its stolen... regardless what they going to do with the boat selling it for parts? who knows what trash people will do!
If cops cannot solve this then the world is in trouble.

It’s called property kidnapping. Same in south america.
Those texts sound like extortion. Which is also illegal. I hope the detectives track down those people.
Air Tag, Air Tag, Air Tag. 25 bucks for year long security. Just make sure you cut out the speaker.
Material things always come and (go) they go with the thief for $0. LOL 😂

An AirTag only cost $25…….cheapest insurance there is. 😐
Rich people problems
Something as simple as an air tag or the Android equivalent would have been the redeeming factor here
As always...
