    I remember the days when Glendale Park was the hangout place in Oak Cliff on Sundays. Cars and trucks lined up and down Ledbetter while hundreds of people socialized and picnicked with no drama. Dont know why Dallas/Ft.Worth has connected with this song so strongly but its definitely not a bad choice. Love it

    Y’all I was at work bored and this tune kept coming up in my head I couldn’t ignore it so I kept humming it until I could remember the song I didn’t know the artist or even the name of the song but what I did know is I born and raised in Dallas Tx #Oakcliff and when I would hear this song as a little girl I would stand in front of the big speaker and sing to it I also remember the time every thing was so solid in the 80’s remember westcliff mall and Kiest bazaar and hanging out at Kiest park then I come here and read all the comments just took me back oh what a time to be alive #nostalgic

    This song puts me back in a time that wasn't perfect but was a lot less volatile; a little simpler. I remember the local radio stations K104 Tom Joyner and KKDA Soul 73 Willis Johnson and Russ Parr playing the crap out of this song. Somebody said it was as if it was Dallas' anthem lol

I had just got a job at the Hyatt Regency at Reunion Tower as a busboy... The minute the bar crew and I got off work, we would go straight to the clubs...     I have been trying to find this song for some time since Rudy V plays it on KSoul I love it and I always love to hear right before I lay down... Dallas is putting this song back on the map where it should be. THANKS FOR POSTING THE SONG!!!

    This song came to my mind a few days ago and I wanted to hear it without goin' through my crates. Thanks DASONGBIRDT! I lived in Dallas in '86 when this song was fresh and new. It received play on 107 in Fort Worth and 104 in Dallas. The good news is the CD is available at Funky Town Grooves. Go get it!

    This is definitely a hard song to find. Thank you, dasongbirdt, for posting this. This is a beautiful song, back when artist could truly sing and perform (unlike today). This song gets good air play here in Dallas on 94.5 on Michael Baiseden Show.
