That was great! Thanks so much. You needed more corner marks than your usual solves, but you kept them to a minimum. I like the way you solve using logic the whole way through.
On my solve, (on paper) we did similar work through the first 5 minutes or so. Then I began to use more corner marks and did finally solve the puzzle. It was helpful to watch you continue with your strategy the whole way to the end. You are a good teacher and I appreciate your work.

      Thanks for your comments,
I used to solve the sudoku games on nearly 2,000 sheets of paper with careful notes. And later I used a computer, you can go to the community tab to see..
But please explain a little for "corner marks", I understand the literal meaning but I don't know the specifics.

@@sudokunamhoa At 2:40 in this puzzle, you note in block 1 that row 3 can be 56 in col 1 and 3. The 56 is what I am calling corner marks (maybe center marks is better?)
In my play, I also marked the 18 pair in the first row because I know that only 1 or 8 can fill those cells. There are some players who will mark the whole puzzle this way, filling in possible candidates for each cell. I think it gets too messy.
I try to mark only cells that have just two positions, For example, again at 2:40, there are two spots that 9 can go in block 3. By marking these clues, it helps reveal which cell is right because of pointing from other markings.
There are times when you are solving and you say " 2 8, don't know" I will have that written where you seem to keep it in your mind.

@@MICHAELOLSON-x9s thank you very much for your explain..
I played Sudoku 5 year ago from a my friend that he introduced me the solution and what you call "corner marks" my friend called "combination" and he told me that the soul to solve Sudoku, but later, But later I realized that just knowing the combination is not enough.
Because the level of the sudoku games on Los Angeles Timers is only 4/6, With higher level, exercises requiring more skills..
Yes, you're right in saying that "filling in possible candidates for each cell. I think it gets too messy."
We call the filling in possible candidates for each cell is noting the small number...
Playing small numbers is not a master..
I just think the numbers in my head and print them out when I see the correct number.
It is a habit that my friend taught me.
      Thanks again 😍😍😍
