When I was a teenager, our beloved collie, Duke, was stolen. I lived in No. Kentucky across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. Looonnng story shorter, through police sightings & our multiple searches per car over 12days, he was taken & escaped 40 miles north of Cincinnati. Each report = closer to us. One day we heard Duke at the door "talking". The reunion was full of his constant trying to tell us about his adventure....lots of hugs, knocked to the floor with lots of licks. He talked all the way thru his bath & continued when my grandparents came right over to celebrate his return. I tear up even after all these years. We will never know how he navigated his way home. It didn't matter. Our & his happiness still fills my heart! ❤

About a long agonizing week, they got a call from someone who asked if they were missing a dog. It turned out that Trapper, who grew up on a lake, was familiar with fishing boats. He found one, sat down and waited. The owners of the boat tried to coax him out but he wouldn’t budge. On his collar they found a scratched phone number. Trapper knew if he waited long enough, they would find him and it worked. ❤

Ah man, I miss my cat that passed away last year in October. He used to greet me everyday after work, always jumped up and have me head bumps. That was a routine we did for 18 years, I really miss him everyday, when my time comes we will be reunited again. It's the small things I miss the most, the life of an animal is short, give them the best life because they deserve that and one day they will move on, so keep on giving love to your pets people.
Yes i feel for you brother. I have 2 and we basically have the same routine. One almost died her name is Abbey and i had to sell 1 car to save her. Cost me around $7,000 and i would do it again without hesitation. I can always earn more money. Shes still with me so hopefully i can get another 5 years or more.
We can't speak their language but we can communicate with love, compassion and respect. Animals will give all of it back stronger than we give it to them.

Animals are so loyal and their love for humans who are good and kind to them is lasting and genuine. Lesson to be learned: we should love and be kind to animals. They're here and created not to be mistreated.
The sad thing though is how we have domesticated so many of these animals to make them now dependent upon us. Cats and dogs being the two main ones. And look at how many of them have suffered and still suffer as a result. I love animals and have pets of my own (no cats or dogs) but it is a bit sad to see how we humans just have to control everything. I can not imagine how soon it will be before most animals are gone from the wild because of our destruction and what we will have left is mostly captive "pets". I have always loved seeing animals in nature but am preferring it more and more as I get older. Not so much seeing all these captive animals that humans feel they have to form bonds with. I truly feel sorry for all those in the future that will never get to see nature that we have remaining. Animals independent from us. Our human population just keeps growing and forcing everything else around us to adapt because we can not adapt to others. That is the real mistreatment.
It's always amazing to see the bigger predators treat a human with affection because it proves that a relationship of love can be built instead of fear, given the right time, effort, and respect. Awesome!
They have to get the snack to let its guard down. Food is much tastier when it is tender, and relaxed. Usually after a hug, and when its back is exposed.
@@jakeryan2805 actually totally untrue especially if the animal is found in such a like a young young age very like newborn and you've been with them forever that's a way I found a cougar cub out in the bush for my step dad was hunting one day even though it's illegal hunt for mountain lions Where We Are he's still proceeded to kill him cougar with her babies I happened to just come around the corner to bring him his lunch and I saw him leveling the gun to shoot the baby cougars so I flung his lunch bag at him distracted him picked up the two cups and took off into the bush to my brothers and mine Shreveport or I nurse them for about couple of months because of my dad kept asking me he wanted those cougar cats he wanted them for like but I wouldn't tell so I finally called a the animal rescue place where I live I saw them maybe a year later and both the more running up to me at full so you'd be they remembered me so no animals only don't only think about but they also understand and and can be very compassionate

Sometimes there's just something missing in some people, when compassion and respect were handed out some didn't seem to get any. Also I have a ball python named Rufus and I had to go on vacation for 2 months and his reaction when I got home was priceless! When he saw me he immediately started to climb to the entry/exit of his enclosure and when I took him out he couldn't stop twisting and slithering on me!
Dogs are the best. My grandma has a dog that I used to call his name from afar whenever I visit, and he comes running and play with me. It's more than 5 years since my last visit, and the dog has eyesight problem and weak due to old age. The moment I called his name from afar without him on sight, he still recognized my voice and came rushing very happy despite being weak already.

That's sweet. My mom & dad passed away last year and they had a little dog. I had to make the tough decision not to take her and let her go permanently to a lady that had been looking after her while my sister and I settled my parents affairs. I'm going up to Washington DC where she's living on October 1st. I can't wait to visit her. I wish I could've taken her but I'm a single person who lives alone and works full time and I would hate to leave her home all day while I'm at work. The lady that took her is retired and can be with her all the time so I thought that was better for the dog, but I do really miss her.
I have a five year old Maine Coon cat. Tried picking him up once when it was little, he tore me up. So we had an understanding, no physical contact for the most part. This summer, he decided to jump in my lap, cuddles and brushings, and even fall asleep in my lap. All after five years of nothingness. Cant explain that....

This is breaking me into pieces! In October, I had a medical emergency. I've had 4 surgeries and have been recovering in a rehab facility since -- now 6 months. I have a family of 5 cats, that I haven't seen since the ambulance took me away. I'm pretty much the only person they know, even though I've had them for 10+ years. I've been so worried that they will have left me by the time I get home. (Should be just 2 weeks now or so.) That they'll "forget" me or have moved in with other families. (Even though they've been watched by a neighbor, she says they know a way out of the house now and she can't really keep track.) I would be beyond heartbroken to think they've left me but this video has given me more hope than I realized I needed. Thank you!

This is breaking me into pieces! In October, I had a medical emergency. I've had 4 surgeries and have been recovering in a rehab facility since -- now 6 months.
I have a family of 5 cats, that I haven't seen since the ambulance took me away. I'm pretty much the only person they know, even though I've had them for 10+ years.
I've been so worried that they will have left me by the time I get home. (Should be just 2 weeks now or so.) That they'll "forget" me or have moved in with other families. (Even though they've been watched by a neighbor, she says they know a way out of the house now and she can't really keep track.)
I would be beyond heartbroken to think they've left me but this video has given me more hope than I realized I needed. Thank you!

Animals are awesome! Sad and seems so unfair our pets don't live longer 😢 but definitely worth the pain when they share their lives with us.

THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME, THAT I AM NOT ALONE, IN MY AMBITIONS TO SAVE EVERY STRUGGLING ANIMAL THAT I COME ACROSS.
