BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING NEW FOR KIDS, Ask friends, check second hand stores, Facebook market or eBay. Kids grow so fast, you don’t need to always buy new. It’s also environmental friendly to reuse good items which are not broken or worn out.
1. Apply the onion concept for dressing your kids. Layer by layer.
2. Invest in few good warm and natural clothing
3. For small babies keep the stomach free from tight pants and leggings. Better to invest in wool jumpsuits
4. Do not strap your kids in the car with full winter gear. Keep their belts close to their body as possible and less clothing bulk to avoid them flying out of their suits in case of emergency.
5. Always keep their feet warm, invest in good warm shoes with lamb wool.
6. The inner layer is the most important. Avoid as much as possible polyester unless doing sports like skiing or snowboarding. For everyday invest in wool or good quality fleece.
