Yeah but they primarily used him for blocking… he is a slow te so his team didn’t use him much.. but when he proved himself they started using him more
@@ryenkimball8168yeah no, he is not a slow TE, he just doesn't have gamebreaking speed. Average speed for the position. He just "feels slower" to you all cause for decades the raiders lead the way on speed in the nfl.

Tyreek Hill has something that most speed receivers don’t. He can catch the ball in full stride, then smoothly turn and accelerate to full speed without losing balance. He’s got great vision, and the control to fly through seems. That’s why he gains so many yards after the catch. I’ve never seen anyone do that like Tyreek does. Being a speed receiver doesn’t guarantee that a WR will turn into the next Cheeta.

Dude did you not see tuckers highlights in this vid? I agree about his size and jumping ability but he can turn in the burners just as quick as tyreek and is just as shifty it also seems he has good Vision
We traded up to get Mayer at 35, when he would've been there 3 picks later and lost 141. OK, he's a good player, but we could've waited and got him at 141, especially if we're going to use him primarily as a return guy. I'm not in the war room, so I can't talk about would've, could've, should've, but those first 4 picks better end up as starter for the Raiders. We need starters on days 1 and 2, and we have a glaring need at CB and LB, unless the defense I'm watching is an optical illusion?

Exactly tyreek has balance it looks smooth but tre tucker is the opposite he catches and gets slightly touched and falls all that speed for nothin
He's faster than the combine stat suggests. Plus, he's one tough guy; more versatile than you imagine. And all the players coached by Luke Fickel and his staff are mature and know how to work hard. He's going to light some people up!
I like it. You have to respect speed in any sport. Either way, Tucker being on that field will keep a Defense on their toes 👀

We have a bunch of WR, personally rather a CB in the third round. We need to keep adding depth at CB. Last year they were rotating them in and out though out the season like musical chairs. Injuries are a concern. Three slot receivers, one with really good speed.

Hated the pick. We have 12 WRs now. We need help on defense!!!! Ringo was there. Once again, we are going to get torn up on defense. Anyone afraid of out linebackers? Our corners are ok at best. Use some of those extra picks, trade up and get Ringo. Have a chance to redeem ourselves a little. We are wasting picks on positions we have serviceable player instead of addressing huge needs.
Not sure why I torture myself watching their drafts year after year. This one hasn’t been total garbage, but they needed to crush this one. Time will tell and hope they prove me wrong.

I am ok with the picks, but we don't need another receiver. We should have added another piece on defense. I also think we need some more depth on the offensive line. This pick is risky.
Cliff Branch is the original cheetah. Tyreek Hill is the modern version of him. As a Raiders fan. I really hope Tre Tucker turns out to be that speedster that helps open up the passing game for the Raiders. Tre Tucker also reminds me of Jacoby Ford.

This draft clearly shows we are in a full rebuild with no rush to compete. Adding to edge, te, and wr when we have nfl level players at those spots. We field backup level players at so many spots where a pick means an instant starter. 3 of our picks will need to compete for snaps next year. Our hc and gm must have 10 year fully guaranteed deals as they seem very happy to play the looong game. Drafting the "best" players is sound but doubling down on team "strengths" will yield zero near term results. The bright side is the qb class next year looks pretty stacked and we should be in the top 10 again.
Look, I feel your pain if you wanted a defender with this pick. I did too. However, we did Not have this type of weapon. I like the pick for many reasons. This dude will be making his touches count, believe it. 1600+ return yards!! and multiple td's doesn't excite you? Our return game is awful, now we have a legit threat with Every touch. Plus, his play making ability as a WR only strengthens our attack. Hunter is a stud, now we have another! When Renfrow takes a breather, we don't miss a beat. Who's to say he doesn't beat out Dorsett and earn the job as our deep threat? I love the fact we brought in so many WR's in FA to help Jimmy G. I love this addition too. Getting that stud TE to go with Adams, Renfrow, Meyers is sick, I mean nasty! Add another dagger like this kid, wow...that's pretty scary imo. Blazing play speed, tough as can be, catches with extended arms and great hands, can manufacture in a variety of ways, and a threat to have a huge play with every touch. Hard to not be happy with that. And it's not our new regime's fault that the Raiders have drafted like ass clowns for two damn decades straight!!! There's a reason we need So much. It's frustrating to feel like we still haven't gotten it, too. However, I think it's Refreshing to see a quality draft for once, you know...one that didn't have you wanting to break something, hahaha, or choke a coach or gm, hahahahaha.

From what it sounds like the raiders might have wanted to trade up to get back in the first round for will levis, but the reach around wasn't good enough 😂

Why draft a QB this year? We can get one next year, year after that, and so on. Why waste this year when we just signed Jimmy G to a 3 year deal. Doesn’t make any sense
He could be a special teaser and slot in the case of an injury. The Raiders will use multiple tight end formations and bunch receiver concepts with multiple WRs in tight formations from the slot. Depth in the slot is what the Raiders want.

This is a very good pick. Tucker is versatile and his speed is not just straight line speed. Nothing wrong with having a special teams weapon if he can consistently get the team great field position. We haven't had a player really good at returning punts and kickoffs since maybe Desmond Howard or Tim Brown.

So far I'm not upset with the draft. We grabbed a Jason Whitten TE to help protect JimmyG.They addressed the D Line. If he turns out to be a stud on Returns . It will be worth the pick. We've suck at returns for a very long time.

Now Renfrow won’t have to return punts anymore. Renfrow is low key one of the best slot receivers in the draft. Tyreek only dropped due to off the field issues.

I'm definitely optimistic about Tre. He's already seemingly picking up little moves from Adams
He's not a skinny 5'9. 182 is pretty bulky. Similar to Tyreek. Most 5'9 guys with speed are weighing in at 160-170. Nathaniel Dell is 5'9 165 and he's looking good for the Texans too. He was taken in the early 3rd. Derius Davis who the chargers just took is 5'9 168. He just got taken in the 4th.
All 3 of these guys were taken in the 3rd and 4th round. But the other 2 guys weigh in the 160s. Tre Tucker weighs in at 184. I'm in a replica dynasty league that rewards kick return yards. 32 team league. I'm the back to back champion. I went with Tre Tucker in the 4th. The rich get richer!!

There's just too many casual fans that don't respect the real value of special teams. If this kid becomes the explosive return specialist, that alone will increase the opportunity to win games dramatically. Outside of kickers, the Raiders special teams have been atrocious over the years. Whatever he can contribute to the offense is just a bonus.

It’s questionable at best. But from the outside looking in I will trust the process. Plus Reelo and Clark Phillips are still available. The LB from Oregon and Alabama are still there. This may end up being a smart pickup.

To compete in the AFC West the Raiders are gonna need a top tier defense not 15 wideouts. Another year of playing from behind and stopping no one in crunch time.

How will we ever have a competent defense when we always get distracted? Wr is the strength of the team and we draft a wr? It's not like this is some value pick like we had with the te. I guess we will be fielding backup level players in the secondary again.

I think Zeigler's draft strategy sucks.
1. We pass on Carter, Gonzalez and pick Wilson who I thought because of the needs of the falcons & bears we possibly could have traded back still got Wilson & get an additional 2nd round pick.
2. Then we waste a 5th round pick to move up 3 spots to get the 2nd best TE but this year is deep with TE's and we could have picked a solid DT, LB or CB & got a quality TE in the later rounds.
3. We get a DT who isn't any better than Bilah Nichols and get a 5'8" WR that we dont need yet fail to draft a LB... in a draft class that's limited with solid LBs.
So we pick up 2 good players yet the order & method in which we got them & ignoring real needs in the secondary made no sense to me. It's just as important when you draft a player as it is the player themselves.
Personally it revealed to me that Zeigler is NOT a skilled GM at all. Most of the good LBs are gone as well as the top CBs.
Wanna see a smart draft strategy? Just look at the Eagles & Bengals. Both teams are killing it. The Raiders are barely at grade C level.
