It's called sports martial arts which is only loosely based on self-defense. It's difficult and just as much a sport as gymnastics or football, plus most schools also teach self defense. Search on self-defense martial arts to find what you are looking for.
i used to like this flashy XMA and used to train in it as well, but after knowing what is the true essence of martial arts i dont like it anymore and rather stick to martial arts which are effective. but for demonstration purposes ofcourse it looks very good and Gemma Nguyen is the hottest girl in XMA.

Some people practice for the beauty of it. You would not use a pant brush to kill someone even though you can. Just because you practice to "kill" does not mean everyone has to.
Not true, just because you have great power does not mean you have great flexibility. Most martial artists have strong kicks but few are hyper flexible. Most traditional martial arts don't even recommend kicking above the waist. Most people who are hyper-flexible actually sacrifice good kicking technique because they are able to 'cheat'. They don't require good form to reach high.

well look she has really cool kicks and stuff but iv bin doing 5 tipes of martial arts for the past 20 years of my life and i do know one thing cool is not real hafe of her kicks are nothing and no one would really use them in a real fight..... come on ?

taekwondo + capoeira+ shaolin kungfu + karate GI(karate clothes) = the creative form

technical difficulty is low, but her spirit and focus is excellent.
I suppose the competition doesn't really focus on the MA aspect anyway.
