If anyone is going to the legacy retreat August 15th in North Carolina and is camping offsite would you be interested in finding a campsite together and would want to carpool to the retreat? Could be a nice way to connect and do some group meditation and hanging out before and after each day. Let me know ❤ thanks . Much love.
Was kinda thinking of going I think it's wild how expensive this is but I'd love to hear some of the speakers and learn as much as I could
@@haydenmidyette8918 I agree it’s a bit pricey for the short amount of time it is, but I believe the experience the teachings and meeting fellow seekers who enjoy ram dass is worth it. Plus it’s a good way to help the network thrive. It’s a nice way to in a sort of way donate, and get something in return too I guess. Cheers
I am shit happens...

Listen to him and your country gets destroyed by people not saying its all groovy baby.
I'd gladly accept all the free donations this guy is living on...free food free housing complete free existence. Yep.
If only you didn't listen to him
@@lisalyle4440 precisely.
From what I understand of Ram Dass, he donated most (all?) the royalties (quite a substantial amount) from his book “Be Here Now” to charities. He also co-founded the Seva organization which still helps to fund operations to restore the sight to people in poor countries. And yet, near the end of his life, he was almost homeless due to lack of money, until some friends and supporters stepped in to arrange a modest place for him to live (there is a short Netflix documentary about this). If his existence was “free” it was simply free of materialism and attachment.
@happycatsandhappydogs I’m sorry. I’m wrong and you are right. Ram Dass had running water, and his roof didn’t leak. My sincere apologies for my ridiculous statement.
@happycatsandhappydogs Once again, you are right, and I apologize.
Hh
Huh? 😆
