What is so sad is that my GM, Chevy Bolt was much less expensive then these other EVs. It outperformed a number of them in a snowy mountain endurance run. That includes a Tesla. Yet, GM, cancelled the vehicle! Why? The bottom line, not enough profit in it.

EVs are bringing down the whole car industry that's why. Too expensive to manufacture and sell. Once the governments of the world cut the subsidies (which will happen sooner than you think) no one will be able to afford and run them.

@antoniozaccardi6582 Do you know, that was an argument against airplanes in the 1900s? The ocean cruise ships and trains argued this. They were right, but so what!

You haven't got the best one? Atto 3 from BYD - fantastic car unless you are in remote area.
The LFP battery goes 450 km+ in city, but only 300km on highway. The ride and quality far better than Model Y.
All those Japanese ones are total shite. The ID4 is not much better.
Ionic 5 is a brilliant looking car, but substantially more expensive.
