You bring up the point of finding a product and to make a better product. Is there a video you have that expains how you go about making a better product than the competitor? tea has got to be one of the most competitive niches there is... i find it hard to believe a newbie can just jump into this and make anywhere near 80K/month.
I live in California, can I make my company in Illinois address and start my Amazon seller account? Or I have to live in the same state where my company address is ?
You should never calculate the product month sales based on the BSR of the new products, because very often sellers do fake purchases (they pay % for buyers then they buy their item). The product should be selling at least for 3 months and in this case, if the BSR graph looks smooth, then this is mean that the sales amount of this product is real.
Is this just USA sales or overseas too? It sucks real bad being a UK resident trying to sell on Amazon USA. You have to set up a Limited Company for taxes and allsorts.

A few years ago I started selling on Amazon. But ended up having them send back the inventory to me . This is what happened: I was selling reusable straws and sold like 18 of them I think, but never made actually made any money because Amazon applied those sales to fees and monthly cost Maybe I should've waited and pulled off too early? I'm not sure how it works? But I felt I was losing money and inventory and had them send me the inventory. It's now just sitting in a box collecting dust. I'm still interested in selling at Amazon, but not sure what would be the correct approach to actually make money there.
