I wish they would have held your spot when I was a kid.I had a bad grounder pop up and brake my nose and smelled both my eyes shut they gave my All-Star spot to another girl so I ended up not playing that whole season and by the next season I was afraid of the ball ball shy on grounders right at that spot where the grounder popped up I'd flinch and pull my head and buy the time I played again the next year the damage was done moved to a smaller district where rather than work me throw the ball shyness they benched me went from the number one player in a huge district to benched to a small town where the kids who's family's where all friends where the ones that played I finally quit when the end of my jr year when they took me to state to help train there girl's I just realized no one was ever going to see me and I know no matter how much better I batting averages was the best on every team I ever played for my stats were better didn't matter they were never going to play me no colleges were going to ever see me and I was never going to be able to go to college without a scholarship or I didn't think so I didn't want to so one ball destroyed everything I had worked on since I was 4 years old. I am 36 years old now and I miss the game so much I am thinking about couching I know I would be a lot more fair and the best players would play not just the kids who's family's donate the most to little league program or a friend's with the couches. I really hope no other little girl has to go throw what I went throw. But when I seen those faces masks for the first time I was in tears. I was one of those kids that was sacrifice so that invention would be made on a happier note though my last up to bat ever I got a grand slam over the center field fence.
Congratulations on ur grand slam 👏 but I’m sry to hear about ur softball career getting destroyed by one ball. That rlly does sound awful and like a real pain. I kinda also feel like my softball career was destroyed but it was my fault for being stubborn when I was little and not wanting to continue. I’m glad I’m playing now tho and that I’ve come back after 6 years, personally I feel I’ve improved and excelled extremely well. Hoping to make All-Stars next year!
Yea she is this is 14u, I play 14u and we have faster pitchers than her. Just because she’s the same speed as some of the pros, doesn’t mean she is as good. It does look rly slow, but that’s bc it’s on camera and the angle

Sorry but The ump is not good at all
I think he’s better than most umps these days
Everyone’s saying omg umps are horrible but try not judging and actually being a umpire, it’s harder then you think.
