I have burnt my fingers by buying six seedlings of vanda some six years back. Now only two are there. Remaining static. In contrast, I had two mature vandas bought six years back and these vandas are blooming for me. 90 per cent of dendrobiums show cased in nurseries here are plants which are similar to cattles sent to slaughter house for..... Many people buy the above category dendrobiums(all imported) from nurseries by looking at the blooms. But after one month, the party will be over. In the cse of dendrobiums near blooming plants will work wonders. If we go for phalaenopsis seedlings, we will succeed only after losing some plants. So from my experience near blooming plants is the best option . In the long run , we will learn to grow orchids after commiting a lot of mistakes.Thank you so much. Happy Gardening.
Thanks for this interesting video, and yes, I have finally learned never to buy seedlings. I am a beginner and I have learned the hard way that seedlings have a very low chance of survival in the hands of beginners. Now I only buy plants in spike. Thanks for this excellent advice.
Such a wonderful video , I bought 2 fully grown dendrobium with blooms .after 3years of waiting for my seedlings to grow , they are far from blooming 😅
Nice video. Very useful for the beginners. I enjoy watching your videos. I am growing some orchids. Am from kerala. If you are interested you can buy orchids from pots and petals. Most of the plants I purchased from them are very healthy. Expect more videos in future.
Nice vedio, but there is pleasure in watching their growth.my preference is not to buy vanda, mokkara, rhynco, seedlings.but dendrobium, phals, tolumnas you can try seedlings
Roby roby , it would be a pleasure if you could suggest some growers who are willing to sell phalaenopsis and tolumnia seedlings in adyasha orchid diaries comment section..

It will take a while for them to grow..next time u could try investing in some near blooming/blooming size plants🙂👍
I don’t grow orchids for their blooms, I enjoy the foliage of my collection. I guess I’m in the minority.
