Everyone also give both el duende and robuxy2nd some love as well for their research into NPCs and rare objects respectively! Duende I believe was the first person to learn about the 999 charges shenanigans with dugby, and robuxy has been going absolutely crazy amazing with materials extraction and shared with me how she got mota’s/dugby’s minecart by taking it to the depths! Massive props and shoutout to both of them and the Hyrule Engineering/Datamining communities as a whole!
Does it not work for the first part of Dugby's quest though? Because the Minecart still disappeared for me despite having 999 Zonai Charges. :P
@@KlericYTye it still should work: I used the first quest to extract dugby’s. I hadn’t cleared out the fire temple phenomena on that save (I had just progressed to opening the chasm/defeating moragia). It disappeared on me too but I just saved and reloaded at the initial spawn area in goron city and was able to get it
I tried it specifically on Dugby’s second quest leg but I can’t remember all the shenanigans required. Basically he waits for you to clear up space for the quest turn in, during which point you’re free to make off with the cart and perform whatever other nonsense is required to steal it without requiring the special stick. Turns out almost every quest has special dialog for if you are full on whatever the reward is, and some of them result in pretty unique interactions like these ones.

The setups for some of the "theft" Glitches are actually hilarious. It almost feels like some of those old pranks that have you jump through hoops while your friends simply say "Worked for me... You must have done it wrong".

If you get the hylian shield with durability++ its damn near indestructable so itll last you a LONG time of shieldsurfing. Thats what i use it for lol

i learned in my No paraglider run of TOTK that you can descend safely on any "standable" object by spamming rewind on it when its about to gain too much velocity, it can be a bit tedious, but its how i descended to the depths whenever i found a new crater
you can just pop down a steering wheel and rewind over a while tho, unless they fixed that
You can just glue a steering stick to a rock or any other object available and ride that down to the depths too if you have steering sticks available
Notably this method does not require a steering stick

you can also use the skull lake chasm. first clear out the stal baddies at the bottom. then do game. then fly the cart over near the chasm. fuse it with two ice blocks to prevent it from sinking into the water. then put a control stick and a stabilizer on it. ultrahand it over the chasm then pull it back on the ground. get in. recall it to hover back over the chasm. cancel recall and control all the way to the bottom.
He has so much collector’s anxiety that he also collected my ear drums with his mic peaking. Especially “OUR control stick”.
This sounds fun to do, I’m hoping I didn’t do the Goron quest yet which is mentioned in the video, these minecarts can be useful as a collection

How did I get here...? You know what, it's probably fine. Great video I barely understand the reasoning or idea of, and props to the people who made it possible.
As someone who hasn't played LoZ:ToTK (Heck, I barely finished BoTW), seeing how people come up with the most... insane ideas and random things they could want to make is quite refreshing, considering I didn't expect much from it beyond some basic carts or maybe a glider.

I 100% Tears of the Kingsom last night and I’ll just say. Make sure you get every cave entrance. I was missing the third entrance to the tabahl woods cave and I literally read through each location name in the game

I stole the first mine cart but I already beat the quest for the others, so to fulfil my collector’s anxiety I stole the special steering stick by itself. I hung both the shields on my wall but now I want MORE, is there any more items that you can steal. Thanks for the vid

here's something you can do on an nintendo 64 version of Ocarina Of Time.
For this you'll need: Access to bombs, and the less hearts the better.
1. obtain the bomb bag from dudungo's cavern.
2. Head to any desired area.
3. Do these two steps in immediate conjuction with another:
- Prime a bomb over links head and do not throw it
- Let the bomb damage you on your last heart.
4. If done right you'll take damage and die, and you'll know it's done right by the area being VERY well lit.
5. This can be used during cutscenes, on indestructable signs, or talking with npcs.
6. In certain instances this can be used to skip entire scenes, to party tricks.
7. If you use it with the back in time glitch that resets you to links house where navi speaks with you, the damage WILL carry over.
It is okay to steal as long as
1. You have keen knowledge of your areas physics and loading zones
2. You have collectors anxiety
